It may be less popular bc it's on canvas, but something about this webtoon is so emotional. The characters are so layered and multi dimensional, they're all written just subtly enough that they feel realistic while having backstories that are easy to sympathize with and personalities just rich with subtext. Whenever I fall hard for a story, it sends me into a slump bc I'm determined to find something as good as the last thing I read lol. I know some people think that the mc is terrible, but his motivations and belief systems are so multi-faceted and complex, with so many different emotions happening at once in every panel, ugh it physically makes my chest hurt. Since it's a coming of age story, everyone is trying to work through their own complex growing pains, surrounded by expectations, judgment, fear of isolation, etc. and I love that it's hard to point fingers when everyone is working through the difficult but normal stuff that life throws at them. You can't really blame the characters for some of the decisions they make even if it hurts other people, which makes it so much sadder when they do. That sort of realism where everyone is connected and flawed but nobody is really to blame since all their issues are so relatable and they're just kids trying to figure things out- it's just gold to me (no pun intended). Where their pasts don't serve as an excuse but you understand why they act the way they do, and you feel even worse for the characters getting hurt because you can't even criticize the one who hurt them because they're just a kid trying to work through normal stuff. The conflicts are so internal yet universal at once. Feels just like real life, but beautifully subtle so it stays safely behind the line of believability. Does anyone have recommendations for stories, it doesn't have to be webtoons but also books or tv shows, that share any of the traits I mentioned? For context, I also love Cinderella boy and the characterization in that webtoon, along with nevermore (the more you reread it, you'll see that Annabel is less and less of a villain) and I just watched arcane so ofc I'm obsessed with S̶i̶l̶c̶o̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶v̶i̶k̶t̶o̶r̶ that story too. 2025.01.23 05:10 Catalytic_Vagrant Withdrawal effects after tapering to 2mg?
I tapered from 150 to 2mg over two years, and am finally off it. It is day three and I’m actually starting to feel better already, which is not my experience previously. I’ve never tapered off anything in the past and have dealt with hellish withdrawals.
I know methadone WDs are supposed to be longer than other opioids based on half-life, so my question is if I still have more suffering to go through or if I’m past the worst of it.
I highly recommend making a tapering plan with your doctor if you ever decide to stop taking methadone. Doing 2mg a week takes a long time, but it doesn’t have negative effects (that I noticed)

2025.01.23 05:10 _pm_me_a_happy_thing Ines, Freyna, and Bunny are S tier because game modes "require" speedrunning.
Just to give an example, imagine if Warframe only had extermination / capture missions.
Warframes like Sun Wukong, Titania, maybe Gauss, would be S tier as they can zoom through the maps and speedrun the mission.
While other descendents definitely need buffs and reworks, a huge part of why certain descendants are S tier in all content is because all game modes in The First Descendent are valued on time to completion.
If The First Descendent implemented game modes like survival, where winning is not based on # of kills or time [s] it took to kill, then we can see a rise in other descendants being useful / fun (given some buffs and tweaks ofcourse).
And given time, I know TfD will implement this. When Warframe first launched it barely had any content. Naturally, as live service games, more content is added over the months.
Look at where Warframe is from 10yrs.
Even now look at where TfD is compared to launch, including all the QoL changes (remember when you had to wait 5mins for an outpost??) (Even smaller tweaks like bunny now being able to run in any direction, I remember her being awkward to control like a charging freight train and could barely turn).
So imagine TfD a year or more down the line.

2025.01.23 05:10 TemetNosce WEP finally repealed. 60 yr old disabled Vet here, always denied SS benefits. All appeals denied years ago.
1990 medically retired from Army (honorable discharge, bad knees) (6 years in service) No SS, said I didn't qualify for SS disability. (I applied, turned down)
1998, medically retired from Post Office. Bad knees, 7 years of federal service + 6 in Army. I argued this position of mine. I lost. Why can't I get get SS disability, when it's clear I am disabled through two agencies/federal/Army/VA/Post Office/OPM?
I went on with my life, got an education (Thank you VA). I worked from 2003-2009. Accident happened, not my fault, and I was injured. I gave up on the rat race.
2010 I applied on my own for SS. I had to apply, and lose, myself, asking for SS benefits. After losing my request for SS benefits initially, I could now hire a lawyer. Lawyer represented me for 2 years----UNTIL,,,3 weeks before the hearing in front of a Judge.
Judge was straight in front of me, clerk/auditor was on my left taking notes, on my right was someone who had a book, a book about 10-15 inches tall, 1 foot to 1 foot/half tall. THAT BOOK listed every job known to man. From 7/11 clerk to university professor. All jobs.
Judge and clerk scolded me on coming to their court, without a Lawyer.
I explained to Judge "Lawyer (you all know from TV commercials) Represented me for the past 2 years. 3 Weeks before this hearing, lawyer dumped me as a client explaining "we can't win your case, so we are dropping you as a client."
The (my) lawyers argument was "you don't have 10 credits of employment, we are going to lose this (your) case, there is no reason for us to go forward."
WEP. I was, and am still pissed off idiot lawyers gave up my case and hung me out to dry on my own, in front of Appellate Judge.
BUT IF I got SS, would my pay have been offset by WEP?
60 years old, Disabled Vet + OPM disability. Can I apply for SS now? Or wait till 62 years old?
I assumed/was told for years, it doesn't matter if you get $100 from SS, SS will take that $100 due to WEP.

My entire life I’ve always been the quiet person. Shy. I remember even in elementary school, I was terrified of raising my hand in class. Everyone, EVERYONE - peers and teachers alike - would always comment on how I’m so quiet. I was a good student and got good grades easily, but always did the worst in participation. There were classes where I would never speak once in front of the class.
Don’t get me wrong, I am vocal and love to talk to the people I’m most comfortable around - my siblings, my mom, my best friends - but I feel my quietness has held me back in a way. I don’t stand up for myself, I’m a total people pleaser, I have a huge guard up and am terrified of people seeing me as a real, flawed person, and I don’t really have a network of friends that I keep in touch with, although my 2-3 best friends I will love forever, even if I go months, even years without talking to them. But I’m afraid that they will move on from me.
I just feel like my quietness and shyness holds me back - from building a community that I crave, in romantic relationships, when at work, etc … and that makes me sad, and scared. It makes me feel like I will die alone, or if that even matters. I don’t know if anyone else can relate. I’m sure there are people who do. But I’m better at writing my feelings to strangers, so wanted to share.

I’ve been silently watching this for a while now and after taking my NCLEX on January 17th I feel I should make a post. I had a terrible exam experience. I had 8 case studies, one on a very rare disease that a doc told me later he has only seen one case in his lifetime. When the exam hit 86, I felt like I still had control, after all there were a lot of case studies! I ended up going the entire 150. I was the first to leave the room and answered far too fast in under 2 hours. I felt awful. I studied casually doing Uworld on my breaks for a month during my preceptorship and then studied hard using Archer, Uworld, and Mark K lectures for two weeks.
My advice? To trust yourself! You studied 4 years for this and you CAN do this (but if your like me these comments still don’t make you feel better about the exam you still have to write)
So here’s my logical advice: 1. Use the frick out of the quiz banks: Archer, Uworld who cares, the exam honestly didn’t look more like one than the other, the exam questions are more vague than either platforms, but see as many questions as you can, I used 100% of my Uworld quiz bank and 70% of my archer one.
- Stop memorizing, think smarter: I was someone who tried to memorize everything, WASTE OF TIME. Use mark k lectures and work through lecture 12 on prioritization, figure out how you can break down questions when you don’t know what any of it means and get them right, it’s and adaptive test you will NOT know everything, that’s the point!
- Go into the test confident. The screening process to the exam can be intimidating, people around me were crumbling under pressure. At the end of the day, the exam is going to happen, go in knowing you are smart enough to make it through nursing school you’re smart enough to answer basic questions. Advocate for yourself, I knew headphones were available and that I need silence, I made sure I got headphones.
- Mentally prepare yourself to go past 85. Expect 150. This is what gets a lot of people. We want the lowest hoping for it and when the test hits 86, panic sets in. Prepare yourself, do practice tests with 150 and get used to answering that much, it doesn’t mean you’re dumb! I was a horrible tester in school and still passed my first try, hands on learning is what I prefer. The amount of questions you get does not determine your competency!

2025.01.23 05:10 Luminnas Question on AP7 microsegmentation and multiple SSIDs
Hello,
I have the following setup:
- A user group called "Me" - An IOT group with VqLAN and Isolation enabled - A main SSID, with no default group assignment - An IOT SSID that automatically assigns to the IOT (isolated) group.
I noticed that if my main phone, which is in the "Me" group, connects to the IOT SSID, I get re-assigned to the IOT group, and LAN access is blocked. When I re-connect to the main SSID, my phone remains in the IOT group, and still has LAN access disabled.
I don't really want to assign a default group to the main SSID, as I have those devices in multiple other groups. I am guessing that the behavior I described above is expected, but it took me some time to figure out why my phone couldn't access LAN services, even though I was on the main SSID.
I'm not sure what the best way to deal with this would be, I don't see myself doing this often. It would at least be helpful to call this out in documentation (if it's not already). Possibly keep track of the group a device was in, and upon joining an SSID, restore that group.
