2025.01.23 05:13 Ok-Management-2374 How do you recover from a toxic work place?
I was in a job from day 1 I knew I wasn’t capable of and disliked. I stayed 8 years hoping each year I would master it, be better ect.
I finally left and 5 years later I still don’t feel any better than I did when I left. The old me hasn’t popped back I am still vacant inside. Old joys aren’t here anymore and meds don’t seem to help.
How have you all brought back yourself after what is effectively work ptsd? That maybe a little extreme.

I feel like ts is purely a mental thing but I'm not sure.. Like if you believe stopping doing smth will help you then you'll trick your body into doing better. Im not addicted to porn or anything but id do it every couple days. I've been 5 days clean rn and I feel like I'm more productive with some of my work n stuff but less w other things.
Now alittle background is that I'm very shy. I mostly never talk to people first and with that attitude I don't really be getting that female attention unfortunately. I'm kinda wondering if ts will give me a much needed confidence boost to actually stop being timid and go get some cs rn it don't look too promising. 🤷♂️

Hi all,
I have a Razer keyboard + mouse that I use on my work laptop.
The keyboard and mouse have RGB functionality as I’ve used it & customized it via synapse on my personal computer.
My work laptop doesn’t allow me to download software on the device but it does allow me to download apps from the Microsoft store.
Does anyone know of any apps or methods to get my keyboard + mouse lit up?
I work in a dark room so the backlight feature is very helpful when I work - I don’t care if I can’t customize the RGB colopattern. I just want some type of light coming off these.

But as it turns out, I'm not able to find instructions, suggestions, and recipes for polishing rocks in a vibratory tumbler. Things like how much water to use, is water even necessary? Grit? Media? - walnut shells, ceramic, plastic pellets? ----- Any suggestions from experienced vibratory tumbler users?

2025.01.23 05:13 No_Satisfaction_888 My legs randomly start burning
Female 22, Occasionally I'll notice my legs have patches of red covering my entire leg, usually only the front of my legs not often the back. It'll be red like a sunburn and burning, there's no texture change or raising but you don't even have to touch my legs to feel the heat. It's literally radiating off of me. There isn't any pain, it's just very uncomfortable. This has been happening for years at this point and nothing really changed.

First time being sick in a while. Last time it was when I really should have been hospitalized.
Sleeping a lot is nice, not feeling guilty for sleeping is even nicer. I made some headway on a sweater for my kid, which is more than I did yesterday. I think I'd like to stay home tomorrow and really make sure I'm back 100% before I try to handle work again. I'm going to have some clean up to do, but nothing near as bad as what I had been doing before.
My newest hobby is coming along, I don't know why making lace sounds like fun, but it's small, I can do it at work, and I'll probably end up making some cute things.
I think I'm starting to find peace with everything. I'm getting to the point I can move forward, leaving you in the past. It's sad that you can only see the value in someone after they leave. I don't know if you just needed to feel like someone would still be there no matter what. I was that, for a while, but then I realized it was only hurting me. Why stick around for someone who, at the drop of a hat, will discard you the first time they see fit? Or worse, when they need an ego boost? It's just not worth it.
