2025.01.23 09:43 ethyleneglycol24 What to do with watery and sticky tears/discharge?
Hey guys!
Recently seen an eye specialist for some eye discomfort issues and the final conclusion was that it's blepharitis. Started on the daily eye cleansing foams and a few different kinds of drops.
What am I supposed to do with the watery eyes? When I close my eyes for more than 30 minutes (or if I sleep), the discharge starts to dry and glue my eyes shut, and I need to go to a sink and get some water to dissolve it. When I go about daily activities, it just remains very watery, and my eyelashes get stuck together, stuck to the lower lid, etc.
I've been dabbing it dry with tissues for a while now, but after thinking about it, I'm wondering if I should instead just be leaving it be? Perhaps trying to remove and dry it is only triggering it to create more discharge/wetness? And maybe all the dabbing/wiping with tissues are also just acting as additional rubbing of the eyelids and surrounding area, which could be bad for the eyelids as well.
Would be nice to get some insight from others who may have experienced this symptom before.
Do I just leave it be?

 | This little thing was sort of sprung onto me today and i want to know if the shell seems okay. I did acquire as much stuff necessary for it as possible, but I still want tips. I have Zoomed and Reptomin pellets, as well as gammarus as treats. I use heat and UVB bulbs. Its enclosure is small because it is temporary. I will update the tank as soon as I get the chance.
