This is probably going to be a bit controversial but hear me out, please don't remove this
I am from South America, Latin of course, Spanish is my main language but I can speak english, albeit with an accent, but I speak the language in a conversational manner. If you hear someone with an accent, don't Immediately react with "get off this server"
If you don't know, everyone in Central America, which is everything between Mexico and Colombia, is forced to play in East or West US servers because sadly, the "Latin America server" that exists, is specifically made for Brazil and everything south of that.
We don't particularly enjoy having to play in a server where most people don't speak the language we do, but we play anyway because it is fun. There's nothing we can do, because there's not many games who actually care to give central america their own dedicated servers where we can speak our given language aside from Riot Games (The one thing they did right)
So tolerate us as we tolerate you, because we are just trying to play.
And I hope the guy who gave me the energy to make this post, gets banned.

But in the profile right before you swipe you see that he openly says prefers to have sex on the first date. Or let’s suppose that you do swipe and then he mentions this in a casual and respectful way in communication prior to planning the date. He makes it clear that this isn’t obligated, but you also get the sense that you likely won’t get a second date if the magic doesn’t happen.
He’s clearly not looking for a “hookup” or an “open relationship”. He just doesn’t want to wait 3 months or 3 dates to test the waters. Sex is important to him, just like other shit is important to you. For all you know his back story is being in a series of dead bedrooms. So league's just ended, it's one of the best game modes to me honestly. Gives you chances to experience new things and challenges or even practice things you were to afraid of doing in the main game. How is it after five of these we don't have a perminate leagues world but there's DMM worlds. I think it would be a great idea if Jagex themselves made a world or two dedicated to the past leagues that were played so that people who didn't get to play them could try them out or those who didn't have the time to do so. Set a world for each League that has been made. This is just a idea of course though i would love to have played the first Leagues it's the only one i missed. As for the point system of course that would be disabled you would just be playing more for the experience on how they work. Regardless if anything is done with this idea i think it should be taken into account that we only ever get one a year and people who are maxed waiting for that new skill to come out have nothing better to do then bank stand and flex

I (29F) miscarried in 2024. My SIL (35F), Let’s call her Marie, told everyone I was pregnant without my permission, so that was fun. Then we found out she was also pregnant, and I got pregnant again. I’ve posted the whole story here before.
My friends threw a small (5 ppl) gender reveal for me. My in laws freaked out at not being included. My OTHER SIL (32F), let’s call her Tracy, wanted to throw my baby shower. I said okay, even though my friends had already started planning a shower for me. I told them to cancel so we could keep the peace with the in laws.
Fast forward to now. Tracy proposes a joint baby shower to my husband (29M). He said he would talk to me but he doesn’t think I’ll like the idea. I said NO - big fat ABSOLUTELY NOT. other than the hard feelings with Marie over her actions, this will probably be my only baby. It’s Marie’s second. I don’t want to share the day. Tracy also wants to have it at her house, 2 hours away from where I live.
Tracy’s argument is that it will be easier for her family to just travel once for one baby shower vs coming into town for both. She says having it at her house will be easier and less expensive since she has the space and will cook.
My argument is: My parents and family live far away (NY to GA). I live 15 minutes from the airport. All my friends that I’ve made here live local to me. My parents offered to pay for me to rent a restaurant for the event. I don’t like Marie.
So, AITA for being upset and wanting to say no to this idea? Am I being ungrateful/a brat? Am I just hormonal?

2025.01.23 05:35 PerfectSageMode I feel like the original cast of heroes don't do anywhere near the same damage as the new ones.

I honestly don't enjoy most of the newest heroes because it seems like they all just have something in their kit to do everything. I like the specialization of the older characters.
That being said I feel like you have to work so much harder to get the same damage over time as many of the new heroes get.
Have any of you found this to be the case or agree? I feel like they need to take a few years to just buff the original cast and get them up to par with the rest of the roster.

If the U.S. decides to withdraw funding from organizations like the WHO to save costs or redirect spending toward their own citizens, isn’t that the same logic Nigerians often advocate for here at home? We complain about our own government’s overspending, lack of accountability, and unnecessary foreign aid, so why should it suddenly be offensive when another country does the same?
The reality is that Americans, like Nigerians, have been voicing concerns for years about unchecked spending, border control, and policies that don’t prioritize their citizens. If pulling funds from international organizations forces African leaders to start taking responsibility for their own health systems and governance, then perhaps it’s a necessary wake-up call. For decades, we’ve depended on foreign aid instead of building sustainable solutions for our own problems.
As for the comments you mentioned about immigration and border control, aren’t we equally critical here about illegal immigration? Nigerians complain about Fulani herders, illegal Malians, and other border issues, yet we find it hard to see that Americans feel the same about their own borders. Every nation has the right to secure its borders and prioritize its citizens.
Finally, it’s baffling to see outrage over people celebrating Trump or any foreign leader. What makes it so shocking? People are entitled to their opinions. Just as we have our views about Nigerian politicians, others have theirs about Trump. If someone praises Barron Trump but criticizes Seyi Tinubu, that’s their personal opinion, it doesn’t mean there’s a "curse" on Nigerians.
Rather than focusing on what Americans or their leaders are doing, our energy should be directed inward. Let’s hold our own leaders accountable, demand better policies, and build our country to the point where we don’t depend on foreign funding or interference. The change we want for Africa won’t come from criticizing U.S. policies or media comment sections, it’ll come from within.

Using the lock/unlock button from driver door all the doors work except the driver door. I can't figure out what's wrong but it happened to my truck twice... the first time after an hour it goes back by itself but this time it's been 2 days and still the same.
