2025.01.23 05:39 Coreylian101 Oracle dude, turned 4000 into 750k and here’s the next moves…
So yeah, just gained over 3/4 of a million off Oracle calls.
It was really "expected" but not that much of a gain. My thought of why I bought the calls was straight forward: Larry has government ties, Oracle has great data centers, before someone start telling me they're all shit, figure it out that government centers are using Oracle products decades ago when it first launched. It doesn't matter if it's shit as long as it's back up, by a first world country.
I was only planning to buy shares at first till I see how cheap the calls were while Trump's executive orders are going to be taken out this week as everyone knows, Trump puts in the works.
You might wonder why Oracle instead of Nvidia and MSFT or META? Because why would I put money in something that is already largely priced in? Many of people will say I did insider trading, but noted I only used 4000, which was well under 3% of my account balance. And even if I did tell anyone to buy Oracle before, who would actually have done it? Everyone wants to ride the same train while the train is already full, hop off and find another train!
Regarding my next move, I'm bullish on the upcoming tech earnings of course, except for Tesla because Tesla is just another regarded stock, rather go Vegas instead.
Tickers: PLTR (UP) - New energy source, known to the public and might receive support from Trump's future actions.
Spotify (UP) - Netflix had a bull run, both relies on subscription service to generate their revenue so if Netflix reported their subscription growth, why would Spotify's be flat? HIMS (UP) - One of my favorite medical stocks so far. HIMS has been addressing obesity issues and other health issues that were not discussed before but are affecting our everyday life's. Although I do not believe HIMS will receive any support from government, if it addresses Al and innovation in its earnings, I can see another leap forward. CEG Energy (UP) - Need I say more? Just long term 6 month call this, it's a brain dead money printer.

2025.01.23 05:39 ProcedureInfinite824 How do I accept having a bad future?
I feel constantly plagued for years by these thoughts, and it has been worse lately. I can't have sex so I can't get a boyfriend. My career field will be taken over by visa holders at some point, as the program gets expanded and companies use it to get cheap foreign labor. I don't have any family that cares about my existence. I'm likely to be living off savings, totally alone, in the future.
I'm struggling to accept this reality. I have anxiety problems, obviously. I don't want to hate waking up each day knowing these things. Does anyone have any advice on how to accept a bad future?

As we have option to change our base locations, i am bit confused about my base location. can i get a bit idea which location should i choose as my base location. Noida or Gurgaon or Kolkata. I have few constraints. these are: 1. kolkata is approx. 500 kms away from my current location. 2. Noida and Gurgaon are approx. 1000 kms. 3. Hey all, I have been thinking about rehoming my cat after the 2 months I’ve had him. The main reason why is the stress that it is giving me. I’m not able to sleep, function at work, or do things that I enjoy doing. I also feel like he isn’t adjusting properly to living here. He frequently chews on things and tries to find a hiding spot. I just know if I should go down this path. I’m going to the vet tomorrow to have a discussion about it.

hi all! just got my depop 1099 and i’m needing some help. last year was my first year with depop so this is now my first time doing taxes w my depop income.
here’s my trouble.. the 1099 form i was sent states the full amount of depop transactions my shop made (which is a little over 11k) but this is not the money that I personally made from depop, that amount is LESS THAN HALF of what is on the form.
is there any easy way i can separate the shipping & depop cut from the amount that i made? sorry if this isn’t written great, im just stressing over potentially paying taxes on 11k when i only made 4k :0 ahhh!!! i’ve been tracking all my expenses for the year but i wasn’t prepared for this so any advice is truly appreciated thank you!!
