2025.01.23 09:24 Beginning_Feedback20 Can PPI use *cause* GERD or silent reflux?
I've been prescribed PPIs with antiviral pills, PPIs were to shield my stomach against common side effects of the second medicine. At this point I didn't experience any GERD/silent reflux symptoms. But after less than a month I started to experience some of them (burning sensation in my nose, I used to think it was an infection, turned out to be because of stomach acid). Then it got more intense and now I experience burning sensation in my throat, occasionally in my chest despite me eating clean. Right now I'm off PPIs because it can interfere with diagnostic process. Still experiencing the symptoms. But I wonder, if I were to stay off maybe it would get better with time? Is it possible that PPIs messed with my stomach and actually caused reflux? Or maybe it's because of the antiviral meds (I'm still on them, it's aciclovir)?
I'm going to bring these thoughts to my doctor but I would love to hear your thoughts.

I'm a newer player and got in after all the banners. I've gotten decently far in the arena using the regular characters, which is fun and all, but is there any way to avoid getting completely screwed every time you go up against one of the limited event characters? I can hardly even manage to knock out one of their fighters at best while all three of mine are destroyed
Is there some 'trick' to it? Or are they just too strong to fight?
