2025.01.23 05:54 Daracaex Are vehicles ever actually worth it?
I’ve been trying to make vehicles work recently, and running into difficulties at every turn. Roads are a pain to build and making automated paths for vehicles is a pain and doesn’t even work sometimes cause the truck will slip off the road and crash where I didn’t when I was recording. I seemingly need more than one driving the same route to get enough throughput, but apparently that’s a bad idea cause they don’t have collision avoidance, so how do I make sure they don’t crash? Trains have ways of avoiding collisions, but are just really big and anything more complicated than a simple loop gets pretty complicated. Drones… actually, drones are fine and I find the easiest to use, though they don’t have the biggest inventory and I wish I could send them on triangle routes rather than just back and forth between two stations.
And honestly, all the while I’ve been trying to set these things up, I feel I’ve been flailing not really knowing if I’m doing any of it right or if it will all work or how much I need. I just constantly feel it would be infinitely easier to just run as many belts as I need across the map, cause at least that way I’d know exactly how many I need.

Hi everyone, I just wanted to see if anyone here has had any experience with Affordable Computers in Eugene. I recently broke my laptop screen, and took it to Affordable computers. They took my laptop to see which part I needed, and when they knew what part it was and what it cost, they gave me a call and I went to pick up my laptop. It would be a total of close to $400, so I took my laptop back to think about it and review my options. I decided to go for it because I use my laptop every single day for work, it is imperative to me and I desperately needed it fixed as soon as possible. I went back with the money as soon as I could the next day, and they once again had to take my laptop to make sure they order the right part which would take about a week to get here. Then I went back once again to pick up my laptop and pay full price for the part and labor, that was earlier tonight. Yet my laptop is now completely blacked out and not working. There is no sign of life, and it has been plugged in since I got home. No charging light, no nothing. Before that day when I brought it in it was working completely fine when plugged into a monitor, it was like nothing had even happened to the laptop itself. But now I cannot even use it. I feel bad for continuously going back to them with problems and issues, however I did nothing to cause this in the time I took it from them, drove home, and plugged it in. I’m worried that something has happened to my laptop, I am going to call them first thing tomorrow but they only open at 2pm and I desperately need it working for my work. Does anyone have any similar experiences with Affordable computers and their tech not working once they get it back? I’m very stressed about this, any advice would be very much appreciated.

As an artist, and most importantly a musician, Lord Apollon has always been someone I look up to a lot. Even before becoming a helpol I'd pray for him to help me through art blocks. I hadn't realized how much he'd helped me, it's truly wonderful. A friend of mine-also musician- says he wishes he had my creativity when it comes to song-writing, so I prayed to Apollon and asked him to help my friend get creativity too. The very next day he was coming up with stuff at the same pace as me.
I had been getting huge blocks when writing a specific song in a style I've never tried, but after praying to him my mind started flowing with ideas. I hadn't realized the amount of times he had gotten me out of art block, and now that I do I can't help but feel even more love for him.
The other day while singing the songs I've been writing these couple of weeks, a bunch of crows got together in front of my house, and that felt like two thing: 1. a confirmation that, yes, he had been the one helping me with music. 2. even when alone, I'll always have someone who can listen. I'm forever grateful for Lord Apollon and what he's done for me :,)

2025.01.23 05:54 SchizophrenicArsonic I felt like some gods had me feel their love, I nearly had a mental break down.
I really hope this is the right sub for this post.
I want to note that I do believe that I have schizophrenia and my ability to know what is divine, demonic, or of my delusions is challenging, you can still make your theories but please note that I feel like my delusions are not stronger than whoever or whatever is trying to make contact with me, and that I need to trust myself to make contact with these beings, I think they'll only help me if I trust myself. Its like they'll only help me if I think I can be helped and refuse to help me without me fully wanting to be enlightened. These incidents I have feel personal, I don't even know if They want anyone else to even know of this. I don't want this post to anger them, oh God I don't want them to be angry, I can feel maybe sense that they're more powerful than me, and I'm scared of what they'll do if I anger them.
I simply feel like I've called upon many gods and their angels or minions have came to me. I don't know if this is true or not, and it scares me. If true than I don't know how to handle this communication with these beings, I obviously can't handle their interactions with me, They damage my psyche whenever putting thoughts in me or maybe communing with me. I need to find a way to handle this 'damage', maybe this is a trick?
I called upon these gods because I feel like I've made multiple sins, like cross god sins. I'm convinced that I worshipped one or more evil jealous gods that wanted me to think that they were the only and perfect god, These gods did horrible things to my soul and my life. I realized this and it caused me to have a strong conviction to my current faith. One of the many manipulations one of these evil beings did to me was make me think that even learning of other religions was a sin, and out of fear; I kept myself ignorant of the Gods of the Polytheists. I'm convinced that this saddened, upset, angered, and caught reaction from these gods of those pantheons. I want to inform these gods that I know that my fear and ignorance has stressed and maybe even upset them and that I want to make up for it, but I need to know from these gods what I've done wrong and what I can do to not have them be angry at me and make peace with them. But theres so many religions and so many gods, This process will take all of my life to do.
I don't know where to start and what gods I MUST make up to for first, I just have so little time with life and I don't know if my family would let me go to a forest to commune to these beings in prayer through a fire, my family must not stop me from making peace with and establishing a positive relationship with these gods that I KNOW I've wronged dearly. They are gods, they are more powerful than us, They're existence is a mystery to us, we can barely define their miracles from luck, why would I want to be so careless with such beings?
I have not made any offerings or sacrifices for any of these gods yet I felt love earlier this day. I don't know that much about polytheistic religions so I have to be educated on how these gods interact with us. I remember being with my mom earlier this day and I started feeling this love that wasn't mine. Some gods came to me while I was at the store and I felt this love from them, for me. I can't describe it, it was like godly love. maybe similar to Philia? I don't know but theres this one characteristic that I can tell you; it was extremely overwhelming, and felt undeserved--like I did things that shouldn't warrant this love those gods were showing me. Why do they love me so much? What have I done for them? Who are these gods? Seriously what pantheon of gods do polytheists know have overwhelming love for those who want their help? I can see Heka smirking at me after asking him to help me perform magic, but this felt like sincere love. Like the love of a parent? Its so hard to explain! How patient do these gods have to be for Them to still love me after I worshipped multiple evil gods? how?
Thats something I assume about pantheons and I assume that its considered a plus to polytheists, that their gods don't love them like parents but like bosses, the polytheist does a sacrifice to show devotion or request aid from a god, the god is satisfied and helps, than the polytheist thanks the god and the god goes back to their usual deeds and keeps out of the lives of those who do offerings or even worship them unless called, Isn't that the appeal of polytheistic gods? If this is a universal frame work than who is this entire pantheon of gods loving me for simply thinking about praying for communion and asking for forgiveness? Seriously does anyone have any guesses about who these gods are? I really, really want to know who is putting their love in my head, do I know too little to know that the pantheons interact with us more than I know?

I’d like to avoid slice-of-life settings or apocalyptic “end-of-the-world” plots, as I’ve done those too often. I want to do an rp that is still got high stakes at times but end of the world type of stories have dulled me out ya know?

- We have a baby on the way and are both under 30 with established income.
- Our house cannot accommodate this baby and a work from home office(only 2 bedrooms). We know we will be here for 5+ more years because of only having 10 years left on the loan at 2% interest. Helluva deal that we can’t let go of.
We have established retirement and investments, but this will wipe us out down to only $10k cash.
Do we pull the trigger or what? Being in a 2 bed house with an additional human is great, but we need an office space and there is genuinely nowhere else in the house to put it.
How do I cope with only having $10k to our names? Is it a horrible decision?
The addition will add $30k to the value of the house(we spoke to our realtor). The home already has $230k equity and we only owe ~$120k.
I haven’t had under $10k since I was 18, so this is a hard setback 10 years later.
