I live in an apartment building with neighbors upstairs, next to me, and below me. These neighbors are mostly fine except for the one below me. I have been living here for a year and some change and she yells her head off all day everyday, sometimes even throw things. I’ll wake up in the middle of the night, yelling, wake up to go to class, yelling, making dinner, yelling. I am over exaggerating just a bit because there are times where she leaves her apartment, but I always know when she comes back because she’ll be yelling. The things she yells is just strings of cuss words (mostly the hard R) and getting mad at stuff people are doing. At first I was worried for her roommate and expressed concern to the office. They had let me know it was only her and her dog in the unit and not to worry. This led me to believe she was just constantly yelling at someone over the phone. As time went on, I started to piece it together that she has schizophrenia. I had asked the office to confirm this and they did indirectly. I feel like shit for saying this but I can’t stand it. From the day I moved in to as i’m typing this, her yelling makes me go nuts and I cannot relax in my own place of living because of it. I try to do schoolwork, have friends over, or even talk to my friends over the phone but I always hear her and it gets in the way of things. I just want to relax in my own living space but I understand she can’t help it. The office has said that other neighbors have called the police and they can’t do anything since she has a mental illness, but I have not confirmed it for myself. The office also said they can’t do anything because of that reason apparently. Another thing is that she has a little dog and I worry for him because she is always yelling at him. I love animals and he does not deserve to be treated that way. She’s tied him up to the outside stairs for days before (the office people didn’t care). I’d like a peaceful life in my apartment until I can move out and I’d like to help her dog, what should I do?
TL;DR: My neighbor yells and throws shit all the time and yells at her dog, unfortunately she’s schizophrenic. I would like peace and quiet for once and to help her dog, what do I do?

2025.01.23 07:08 Junior-Order-5815 The ending was great, and I hated it.
So I just finished my first play of the game. I played the dark urge and eventually (sorry alfira) resisted it and defied Bhaal. To give you an idea of the choices I made I took every opportunity to either remove the tadpole or gain power to kill those who controlled them. By the end I was looking pretty f*cked up and eventually not even elven anymore. On top of that hella people died before and during the final battle (sorry gale and halsin, and basically every ally I had collected)
I actually won the final battle pretty easily, but in the end just chose to kill the brain (even though all the way to it I was determined to dominate it) and end myself because I was just so damned tired in my IRL brain of my in game character getting beat up and losing pieces of myself.
I won't say it's the most emotional ending ever for me (FFXIV Shadowbringers holds that honor for making me cry) but it's definitely top 5 and the ability to immerse me into the characters, world and choices I made are the best I've seen. I've been just sitting quietly, not quite able to start the good person playthrough I had planned.
Plus the teaser scene from Withers along with the knowledge that there will be no sequel or DLC was just an extra little kidney shot.
So good job Larian!

I’m thinking of getting an angle grinder for some DIY projects—mainly for tasks like sharpening garden tools, cutting bricks or paving slabs, and maybe some light metalwork. I’ve been eyeing a few Dewalt models, like the DCG414B and DCG405FN, since I’m already invested in the Dewalt cordless system (I’ve got a few 18V tools and 3Ah batteries).
For those of you who’ve used these models—or any other brands—what’s your take? Are there better options for DIY use that still work well with a cordless setup? If you’ve had success with other brands or setups for similar tasks, I’d love to hear about it.
