2025.01.23 13:21 Ordinary_Teaching_68 TWW 3DPT - Going Insane! Anyone out there with me? Lets count down together!

So I had my fresh embryo transfer on Monday. We were told neither were great so they popped both in. I know now this is not the best idea but everything in hindsight and all. Plus I was told they wouldnt freeze the embryo. Anyway, I am going INSANE! I even did the bad thing today which was negative...of course it was!
I am currently sympton watching and thinking "my stomach pain is not normal" "why do I feel sick?" (probably the 200g if protein I am eating)
To top it off work is the absolute TRENCHES right now. I am a mere inconvenience away from getting a DR to sign me off for stress, yet I work in sales and its the end of the month so financial impact is massive
So overall....thats me!
Are you in the same boat? Well, Im sure your work life isnt **** 😂but would love to get a group of us together to count down these days and keep us away from the pregnancy tests stashed in the draw which we promised we would not touch for at least 10 days.
A distraction would be good right now even if you want to talk about the anything but IVF! KEEP ME BUSY

2025.01.23 13:21 Putrid-Reading-7899 Leaking shower discovered in building and pest inspection

Hi all, my wife and I have a property under contract, we got a building and pest inspection today where our building inspector blocked the drain of a shower and allowed the shower base to fill with water and sit for a while. Our inspector then came back and used thermal imaging and a moisture meter to discover that the shower is slowly leaking along a section of the wall and causing a moisture build up at the bottom of a cupboard.
He said that this is due to the waterproofing membrane behind the tiles being compromised, therefore, it needs to be redone by ripping out the tiles and basically redoing the shower at a cost of 6-7k.
The agent then advised that they actually already had a plumber booked in the next day to do 'regrouting' or similar, which I suspect is a bandaid solution to the problem, which they knew about and were hoping wouldn't be picked up in the building and pest. They've also tried to discount what our inspector said as only 'his opinion' as he is not a qualified plumber. They are now getting their 'plumbing specialist' in for another opinion.
I suspect they are going to do a cheap solution instead of fixing the cause of the issue, which their plumbing specialist will support. They'll also probably use this plumber's advice (which may be different) to try and invalidate what our inspector has said.
I understand there are sealing solutions that sort issues like this without needing a full shower replacement, plus they come with warranties. There's also a few other minor things on the house that need fixing, but overall it's a great house that ticks all of our boxes.
The house is a single level brick home and about 21 years old.
My question to the community is, what to do think we should do in this situation? Is it reasonable to negotiate the price down based on a full replacement or is getting regrouting, etc done better. We just want to get a fair price reduction or have the problem sorted.
We're new to negotiating building and pest issues so we'd appreciate any advice.

So I like the doing the search contracts. But I have progressed in the game to a point that I could easily make a drone do the work for me by sending it to patrol the "last known location" gps point and having a offensive AI block target and intercept it. But when it reaches the lost ship it just hovers next to it like the good boy it is. But it only completes the contract when I get close enough with my character.
So is there a way ( mod or plugin? ) to make it getting close with a remote control block or AI block belonging to me completes the contract?

Hi, i basically broke my laptop and gave it to a repair guy and he sent me this: Hi XXXX, it's Peter from campus computer. Your Lenovo ideapad Flex 5 14ALC7 motherboard is faulty. A replacement Ryzen 5 motherboard cost is £185.00 and labour cost is £55.00. Yours is Ryzen 7 but can't find one and even if it's available it will cost at least £100 more.
i bought the laptop for 600 so i dont wnna spend half that repairing do you guys have any advice on where i can find ryzen 7 motherboards for my laptop exactly, and if it ossible for me to use YT tutorial and repair the laptop myself.

2025.01.23 13:21 Worth_Diet_1458 A dilemma regarding my niece's marriage

There is a lot to say; it's hard to summarize, and also, I have no clue where to start from, so I am really sorry if there isn't a flow in the writing or if it's mixed up.
A little background information: I have 6 siblings, and there is a lot of age gap among us, and I am the youngest. My eldest sister's daughter (my niece) is around my age, as in we grew up together; we have less than a 10-year age gap, and hence we are best friends (like really, really close).
My niece is getting married this month, she loved the guy, its kind of like a arranged-love marriage, they fell in love after the proposal came up, they got engaged, and they decided on a break before the marriage, as they wanted to focus on their careers and get a proper foundation before they start their life together, but they went on movie dates and all, meanwhile a new guy in her workplace proposed to her, he seems like a good guy, and he is 3.5 years younger than her, now when she compared the guy she is gonna marry and this guy from workplace (lets name him "P"), she felt P was a better guy than the guy she was gonna marry, they got in a situationship, her and P tried a lot of things to break the marriage, all failed.
{a negative trait of hers: she is a person who kind of struggles with sticking to one person; she gets bored of people easily; the grass seems greener on the other side}
She did a confession about all these things to me; I spoke to my sister (I didn't mention the things my niece told me). Her mother (my sister) says her negative trait will be fine after she gets married; otherwise, she will keep switching people. If she gets settled, she will eventually understand the difference.
(and the faults she found in the guy she is going to marry in a practical way don't seem reasonable, like he has a body odor after riding a bike)
I did a whole pro and con analysis based on our family, my niece's safety, security, our situations, the consequences, the guys, and everything (note: both the guys are green flags; but sometimes P may seem more understanding than the guy she is going to marry).
P's family doesn't know about this, the chances of his family agreeing is only around 25%
Also, it's too late for her to back off from the marriage; all expenses have been made, all arrangements have been made, and even her consent was asked throughout the process; she agreed then.
So right now, the ball is in my court. She listens to me; I can mold heconsole her in the way I want. There are a lot of factors I can't mention here, so in all factors, the guy she is going to marry is a smarter choice in the long run. So should I support her relationship with P (which has a really low chance of happening) for her current happiness, or should I console her and explain to her how life is and make her understand why the guy she is going to marry is better?
I am her aunt, her mentor, and also her best friend. I loved her as my own child, i can't bear to see her sad, but at the same time her safety and security also matters to me..
