Would you reconsider your decision if your potential partner was anhedonic as well?
I thought about this briefly and came to the conclusion that maybe if at some later point in life all my family and friends are gone (given I’m still anhedonic) and I don’t want to die alone, I would consider getting married if there was an anhedonic woman with a similar fate. We would have to abstain from a lot of benefits that come with a romantic connection since I couldn’t be the best possible husband to her, but I guess that would make being alone easier at that point.
Of course there are still some risks involved - What if one of us gets bored or uninterested in the other person? What if one just person recovers and the sick partner is holding the recovered partner back in life or can’t take care of their needs anymore?
But I guess the likelihood of those types of problems are going to be increasingly slim alongside older age.

So... Around noon I fried a cheap frozen steak to eat with instant noodles, but since I was in a hurry, I accidentally left the steak frying for too little time and it was clearly raw (in taste, texture, etc., there was no doubt). I didn't feel like frying it again so I just ate the noodles and put the steak in the fridge, intending to fry it properly when I was hungry. But tonight I opened the fridge and found the steak half eaten...?? Someone here at home has the habit of eating the food I leave in the fridge, that's no surprise, but seriously? Did they really not realize that thing was raw until the half?- I'm more confused than anything, but I'm glad they liked it, I suppose.

Hello friends. I had submitted my RFE response on the uscis portal on 12/19/2024, but since then I have not got any update on my case. I have seen people getting response in 1 week. But for me it's been over 1 month and still no update on my case. On 15th Jan I spoke to the uscis agent on the portal, she said my case has gone outside normal processing time so i have to open a case inquiry request. Wanted to ask what option do I have other than just wait? Also is there anything I need to take extra care of in this situation?

My wife started her job in February 2024, and I started mine in November 2024. Together, our combined gross salary exceeds $300K. We plan to buy a RAV4 hybrid vehicle soon and hope to qualify for the $7,500 federal tax credit. Since our combined income in 2024 was over $300K, I believe we might not be eligible for the credit based on that year. However, we were both graduate students until 2023, and our combined income in 2023 was below $100K. Can we use our 2023 income (hence ITR receipt of 2024) to qualify for the credit instead? How do you offer comfort to a friend who is relieved their parent is passing away?
Backstory: this friend was the one out of four who was treated the worst. Always took whatever the parents dished out on them so the other siblings wouldn't.
Siblings are oblivious to it. And never admit to my friend that the bad things happened as much as my friend says it did growing up. Or they just ignore it when my friend tries to talk about it.
They've been told that one parent is extremely ill and is at the point where all that can be offered is comfort.
But they sort of feel relieved that it's happening. I don't blame them for it.
I just want to know what I can do to show support and that for once they don't have to feel alone anymore?

Problem/Goal: Hi i am an introvert guy. I need advice kasi nahihirapan talaga ako na ilabas yung emotions ko and feelings ko sa ibang tao. Lagi akong nasasabihan na non-chalant and no emotions. Minsan nakakafeel ako ng good feelings pero di ko siya napapakita dun sa tao. Any advice how to overcome this?
And yes, nahurt na ko ng ibang tao. na used ng isang gold digger girl. Ginamit na din ako ng isang girl as a rebound before. Also some friends din na option lang ako and not being a priority to them.

i feel so bad I wouldn’t let my boyfriend touch me or hug me at all tonight but I just feel so horrible in my body, all I’ve ever wanted is to feel feminine and like a normal girl and I never have I just feel like a hideous creature 24/7. I want to do my makeup and my nails and wear cute clothes but my body and face are just too bad for me to stand. I try to fit in more by collecting cute things and trying to have cute aesthetic photos of them on instagram and I think it will make me feel more normal, but even though no one on there sees my face I still feel like they can tell I’m a fraud and I feel like even my pictures are ugly and not feminine and aesthetic. I don’t know how I’m someone’s girlfriend and I don’t know how I’m supposed to keep living like this for years.
