I want to name my daughter after my grandmother, Elaine. However I’m not a massive fan of the name Elaine itself as I think it’s a bit dated.
I wanted to call her Elaina instead, but after sharing with my sister she’s saying I’m spelling it weird lol.
I know the name is generally spelt Alaina, but she’s suggesting I spell it Elena - which I would pronounce like Ellen-a not Elaine-a

Hallo zusammen, bald ist es soweit und mein liebster Passat B8 TDI mit 193PS aus dem Pool wird zu einem von mir konfigurierbaren Auto.
Ich will euch erstmal generell Fragen, welche Pakete und Ausstattungen ein muss für jeden Außendienst sind.
Dann werden wir konkreter: Ich fahre eigentlich zu 90% Autobahn vor allem links. Je nach Termin ist das so einmal die Woche 400-700km an einem Tag. Vorgegeben wäre Diesel aus dem VAG Konzern, 40k km, 4 Jahre, nettoleasing bis 500€.
Für mich soll es eine Limousine sein, deshalb Liebäugle ich vor allem Mit Skoda Superb, Audi A5 oder A3. Die ja entsprechend völlig unterschiedlich ausgestattet wären. Ich tendiere zum A5 weil mich der neue Diesel Antrieb sehr interessiert, allerdings bleibt da nicht viel für Ausstattung übrig.
Was sind also eure Must Haves? Wa smich auch sehr interessiert ist das Thema Akkustikverglasung und beheizbare Windschutzscheibe. Bringt das wirklich einen Mehrwert oder ist das Marketing wie bei den meisten Soundpaketen? Auch Erfahrungen mit Sportfahrwerken von Audi wären interessant: Sind die zum langen Reisen noch bequem?

My roommate keeps leaving the lights on for hours and turning up the heat quite high to 73 degrees. She hasn't paid part of our electric bill and it's at $162 dollars for a tiny apartment. Is she doing this on purpose? Any advice that you guys can give? I've been turning down the heat but she keeps turning it up higher and I wake up sweating. I've also been turning off the lights but I can take another bill like that when it's normally $60 per person on a normal month in the summer at most. I also have severe allergies and have told her many times and that my side of the kitchen needs to be for myself. I frequently find her items on my side of the counter and sometimes uncleaned food. I'm really getting tired of living this way. Thank you, any help is much appreciated.

Hi,
I currently only have 1 company (sightseeing) and I now have enough money to buy a second aircraft.
Suppose I create a new company (for example, cargo) and buy an aircraft for that company. Will I get passive income from the single aircraft on the first company (sightseeing), or in order for it to work you have to have at least 2 aircraft in the same company?
My question arises because I read that you need at least 2 aircraft but I cannot find out if that's in the same company or not. I'm also already aware that I'll have to set "crew" to "on" on the aircraft I want to assign to my employees.

2025.01.23 09:41 mo0n1999 Anyone experience awful heartburn from meds?
I was nervous to start my budesonide, but did a week ago, and the past two days have developed terrible chest pain. I thought I was having a heart issue and ended up in the ER where I got a normal EKG and blood markers.
The doctor said 1-10% of people get worse acid reflux from the medicine, and thought this was probably the case, as I do have bubbling in my throat and some gas along with the pain.
I was already on Omeprazole 40 mg every morning, so my GI recommended I take it twice a day (also now before dinner) and also supplement with some over the counter dissolvable tablets for reflux.
I tried this and took three tablets with it, and it still isn’t helping, which kind of scares me. I couldn’t sleep last night because the chest pain is worst in the evening and it was really intense. It felt like it would be really sharp and intense and then fade to just feeling heavy and sore, and finally I did fall asleep. Now this morning it’s less intense but it feels like I got punched in the upper stomach (just below the breast area in the middle, which I know is where the reflux would be felt).
I’m just scared and wondering what I should do now. My GI doctor didn’t seem to think anything more could be done, but they are going to call me later today.
Would appreciate any similar experiences, reassurance, advice. Chest pain is a bit scary with the heart in mind.

Yesterday while talking to a friend, i smoked a bit and had an uncontrollable cough. Then I had a sharp pain on the left side of my neck..
I didn't think of it much but today, i noticed a red line on my neck, as if it's a nerve bursted out. It's itchy does hurt much but it's certainly red and visible idk what to make of it, donno where to post this.
