It's weird to title something like this but I'm struggling on how to deal with the upcoming death of my father. In late 2016 he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer which was in his abdomen. He's had too many surgeries to count and up until recently, it feels like I was at peace with the fact that he was going to die from this cancer at some point. The original prognosis was two years max and clearly he surpassed that.
However, early October he was diagnosed with MDS or preleukemia. Joy. End of December his doctors made the call that there was nothing more that could be done. The tumors are not able to be removed and his MDS is progressing rapidly, we were told he had 6-9 months. Monday, January 20th, after more tests the timeline was changed to be closer to 4 weeks.
I'm not good at showing emotions and I bottle everything up. Me and my therapist are working on that but it wasn't till tonight (or early morning) when I finally broke down. I've been having nightmares about my father passing. His estimated 4 week timeline ends around my 26th birthday. I know it's just a date but the terror I feel knowing that he could die on my birthday has made me physically ill. It's such a selfish thing to think.
I don't know how to exist in a world where my father isn't. Everyone who I've ever met that knows my parents knows that I am my father's daughter. We are scarily similar. It's something I'm immensely proud of.
This is probably incoherent and makes little sense since I'm sure I just rambled on and on. I just don't know how to feel okay. All of a sudden it's happening and people keep messaging me about how much they care and stuff which is nice but I feel like it's choking me.
Sorry I don't even know what I'm asking for. Advice? That would probably be good haha. Sorry for rambling, seems easier to put it all here somehow?

It's still January so I've got resolutions still on my mind. So I was thinking of finding a girl on here to study or work together or relax with, if our goals align.
I'm a current graduate student studying programming. So I would love to maybe find a programming project or study partner. I also enjoy video games and anime, and go to the Anime Expo every year.

I am relaxed, laidback, lighthearted, 5'7", 140lb, pale, nerdy, but decent build. Let me know what you're interested in, maybe you can ask for some help with some of your stuff along these lines.

Hi,
I've got a 2019 1.3 Kadjar. The steering wheel is always every so slightly to the left when driving straight and if I hold the wheel straight it moves to the right. It's not massively noticeable, but I do seem to have to keep making lots of mini micro-corrections, especially on motorways.
I've had the tracking checked and it's come back as absolutely fine, concerned that it could be the steering rack but is there anything else that could cause this? All wheels are evenly inflated - the car was new to me last year and to be honest, the steering is light in this car anyway so I'm not sure if it's been like that since I bought it or if this is something that has happened over time.

Far left is a Colt ACE. Circled is a Wilson CQB, and Les Baer TR Special, my two personal favorites. Out of the WC, DW, and LB; the Les Baer trigger was perfect IMO. I’ve been using Apple TV since forever. I’ve had a Bravia since 2019 and haven’t noticed any noise on the image of HD (1080) content.
With the LG though, I’ve noticed that Dune on Netflix looked very fuzzy and noisy. Like cable TV. I tested it on LG’s native app and there is no such noise. I asked LGOLED sub and I got a little help. Just wondering if anyone else has experience with this. 4K stuff looks great. But it seems HD stuff looks sketchy as hell. Strange, cause on LG’s app, it seems like it’s upscaling and making it almost indistinguishable from 4K content. Seems up scaling just doesn’t happen on ATV.

Right now I’m moving into a new room and bought new furniture, everything I bought ( dresser, night stand, bed frame, mirror) is black. Although I already have a vanity I want to keep that’s white, how would I layout my room to make everything look good together and not have the white vanity stick out in a bad unmatched way? Or should I just buy a new black vanity instead?
( also I’m going to incorporate a baby pink color into my room decor too if that’s any help )

I spend a lot of time and effort correcting my mistakes as I go. I take great pride in what I put out being correct on the spelling side and as correct as I know on the grammar side. It is a small victory for me.
I know I will do things wrong in the body text (often my phone autocorrect makes the mistake) but I look at the title as essential to get right. So this morning I lost! I spotted straight after posting my misspelt title to a new thread. So I needed a win and deleted it to report with a correctly spelt title. I copied the body text first but couyld nto copy the title as well. So after pasting the body text I re-wrote the title as best as I could remember. Then post.
Can you guess what I spotted as soon as it was posted? A misspelt title!!!! So my win was a lose...again!!!
Do I go back and correct or accept it? I think a win with the correction is good but I am also of a mind that I need to accept more. So what do you think?
On an aside, has your phone's autocorrect learnt you misspelling and now accepts it as correct, even "correcting" the correct to this misspelling??
