Hello everyone. I recently started learning the engine to create my own game. I've only taken one 2D course so far and I still have these questions. I'd be grateful if you could answer as is.
Basically, I want to make a roguelite game, inspired by my two favorite 2D games: spelunky 2 (random level generation with destructible environments and secrets, platformer elements and difficulty) and noita (fluid physics, dismemberment and VFX effects). The game's setting will be about the adventures of a sheriff in a ghost town during the Wild West
And here are the questions:
- Is it possible to make fluid physics and lava effects in 2D? (As it is done in spelunky 2)
- Is it possible to make ragdoll death of sprites in 2D, which can then be erased into a bloody puddle (I really like how it is done in noita)?
- Is it possible to use 2D HD sprites and tilemaps? It's just that everywhere where there is 2D training on the engine, everyone shows working with pixel graphics
- How can I make a whole sprite move its head and aim its weapon with hands in the direction where the mouse is looking? I know that 3D models have rigging for this topic, but I can't find anything like that for 2D
- Is it possible to make a random level generation in 2D with transitions to other randomly generated levels? (As it is done in spelunky 2)

I greened out last month but Ive been feeling a lot better recently, but i still dont feel completely real. Its that feeling where youre aware youre real, but dont FEEL like it? I get insanely paranoid at night still and i can feel my face muscles and see my face expressions. I cant describe that feeling but its kind of scaring me. Ive been able to not panic anymore but right now im very anxious. Im scared im hallucinating this all and im just in a trip that hasnt ended. Im scared i wont ever feel real again. Ive been taking L-Tyrosine and Magnesium the past few days and its helped, but i just want this to all go away. Is there anything i can do to help my anxiety/paranoia at night? My parents dont understand whats going on with me and im not sure what else to do.

2025.01.23 09:31 bongcatalan123 Should officers be given revolvers or handguns instead of rifles?
My take here is I choose the revolver because imo it gives the officer more firepower (1 shot to head, 2 to the rest of the body) and also 6 rounds, and the way it reloads is similar to a Nagant revolver. Just to balance stuffs.

Apologies if this is bananas - I came home with 2 foundations that are a good shade match for once! Revlon Colorstay (Combination/Oily) in 150 Buff and Maybelline Matte + Poreless in 118 Light Beige. It's a miracle - with the power of one subreddit, I can pick what will flatter me from the internet while pro MUAs and product salespeople turn me into various shades of banana and apricot!
I should have known, but the formulas are just too matte and drying on my skin. I tried mixing with moisturiser, but it didn't seem to help, boo.
Is there a way to play around with them to make them work? Some kind of mixing medium that might chagne the way the product feels?
I'm also open to product recs for foundations, but I didn't want to make that the focus of my post. Atm, my best shade match is Missha M Perfect in 21 - I'm an undead yellow graybie olive, basically - I wish I could find the Missha shade in an unfragranced and more radiant formula.
Before anyone recs Purito - I love the Purito cica formula but their 21 is too pink and their 23 is too dark and orange. For science: I found these mixed well to get Purito cica in 21 to look flattering on my skin. Revlon Buff is lighter than Maybelline Light Beige, and it also mixes well with Purito 23 to lighten it up.
