So i had some issues with my pc showing the dram light and not booting after changing the aio and apparently the issue was that it was screwed on too tight but i just wanna ask why? Why did it cause some memory issues with the cpu and how does that work that a too tight cooler can cause issues? Just curious and wanna know how these things work.

Desperately seeking advice! I have been employed at a special needs school in England for 2 months. I couldn't go in today due to anxiety, which I have anyway but not like this! The way they manage behaviour is horrendous. The behaviour lead drags children into 'calm rooms' by their arms or their ankles and physically restrains them in their chairs for hour long lessons. The children are primary age and mostly non verbal, with autism and/or ADHD. The behaviour lead got annoyed at me for refusing to follow these techniques, despite providing them with evidence of better ways of doing it and prior, extensive, training on managing behaviour for autistic children. They said 'that's the way we do it here. The children don't know what is right for them so we are doing it for them.'. Unfortunately the head has agreed with the Behaviour lead. I plan to put in complaints and whistle blow these behaviours. They know it's wrong because they hid it from OFSTED and hide it from parents.
I'd love to know where I stand with this. Should I get signed off with anxiety, look for something else and put in a complaint about the treatment of the children? I will only be paid statutory sick pay which, unfortunately, is not enough to be sustainable. Seeing the way the children are treated, let alone being told that's what I have to do too, has caused huge anxiety. Whatever happens, I will never work with a company with so much disrespect for SEND children!

Hi all, I've just accepted a new and exciting role for a sales engineering position in a very exciting company. I'm coming from a software development background, and although i know what to expect from the job spec and such, I was wondering if there is any general advice that people with more experience than me would be able to share?
I initially accepted the role as i was getting rather bored of traditional software development, and SE seemed like the perfect change of course for me, as I enjoyed being customer facing that the change in workload on the day to day looked very appealing.
Any and all advice for me coming into this role would be fantastic, thanks all!
