in aug, my hemoglobin was 9 point something, ferritin 7. my hematologist ordered 2 doses of feraheme. 4 months post-infusion and i got my follow-up labs done: my hemoglobin is 15! the only even slightly low values i have are my hematocrit and platelets!
no wonder i can run around without getting short of breath and nearly passing out 24/7. itโs weird to be normal, but im so happy my labs are good!!

I have had chronic back pain for 13 years (I am 36, male). Diagnosed with disc bulge and later a disc herniation at L5, S1.
I also have been diagnosed with Costochondritis (chest pain / inflammation).
I often have an inflammatory bowel, especially if I eat poorly.
Recently, I have been having bouts of eye irritation and inflammation. Especially if I get stressed out.
I've brought these symptoms, and AS, up to my MDs before, usually when consulting about my back pain, and they always brush it off.
I have been told I have people in my family who have been diagnosed with AS.
Does this sound familiar? How did you get diagnosed? Was being diagnosed helpful? How do you manage your symptoms?

2025.01.23 15:20 local_meme_dealer45 [Air 3s] AirSense very inconsistent when detecting smaller aircraft
Earlier today I was out flying and heard a helicopter coming towards me. No problem I dropped below treetop level and waited for it to pass by. After finishing the flight I went and checked, AirSense NEVER detected that helicopter at all despite it showing up on ADS-B sites like adsbexchange.com since it took ofg.
Testing some more after this incident I had my drone landed and used a Cessna 172 flying over. I saw it on AirSense as it approached. It then stopped tracking about 2 km from me despite it still showing on adsbexchange. At the same time AirSense had no issues tracking a 737 up at cruise altitude which would never be a hazard.
I guess the moral of the story is don't rely on AirSense and keep your ears open as well as an ADS-B site open on your phone while you fly.

Is anyone also doing Beachbody workouts and find certain ones help?
Trying to get back into working out. I currently work remotely (desk job) and started using a walking pad which helps at certain speeds- but Iโd love to get back into building muscle without hurting myself more.
