2025.01.23 17:21 Sweet_Cornbread I had a dream that lasted years and I wasn't even in it
I forgot a lot of details since it's been a minute but throughout this entire dream I wasn't a character in it which was interesting to explore.
The dream stared how as a hummingbird documentary and followed it as it searched for nectar. It want near the water and got eating by a fish before a man speared it to eat. He was stranded on a moon shaped island with a female companion after escaping a war. (That didn't happen in the dream but I just knew)
They don't like each other but work together to build a home for themselves, (no this isn't some enemies to lovers shit, they don't like each other until the end). More and more people get stranded on the island over the years and he "rules" them with the woman he was first stranded with. This is when the power starts going to his head and he starts to become a bit of a dictator. A new woman gets stranded there and she's a very capable person and is almost rivaling the man's influence, but she's keeping a secret.
By the end of the dream giants come to the island because their looking for the second woman because she did something terrible in their country. She's scared but because the man is too hot headed to just hand her over there's a huge battle and the humans manage to win with half of their town dead. Then I woke up.

Our little Crouton is 15 1/2 years old, and still has spunk! Still very impatient on getting her breakfast and dinner at certain times, and still very cognitive. Her mobility isn’t quite the same (it was worse a few months ago though and got better!), but she still gets around and goes down (but not up) her couch and bed stairs. This is our first and only fur baby together, and we got her our first year of dating. We’re so glad the extended time we’ve had with her, but it’s sinking in more and more the older she gets we won’t have her forever. :’(

I had quite my problems understanding why people downvote stuff on social media. That seem to be because i rarely downvote stuff, and when i do, usually if i think its factually incorrect.
This is not what neurotypicals do, not always. After some research, i think i have figured it out. Neurotypicals downvote anything that, for some reason or the other, evokes some negative emotion. They also downvote for factually incorrect stuff, though.
That means for example, i write that "Trump won the election". Factually correct, but if you do not like Trump, it makes you feel uncomfortable, and you downvote.
Yeah, thats it. Perhaps helps someone who is worrying about it, too.

I have a domain that Google sold to Squarespace and I am getting the DNS values wrong. Hetzner hosts the site, monaghanmeet.org. Let's Encrypt will not renew with the bad DNS values, so one must access it without ssl. tldr: Please point to guidance on this specific case.
Per Hetzner instructions, the Domain Nameservers at Squarespace point to Hetzner: helium, hydrogen, and oxygen (.ns.hetzner.com.). I think this makes the DNS values at Squarespace irrelevant and I have to put correct values at Hetzner.
The DNS values at Hetzner now includes four A values pointing to Hetzner (198.49.23.145, for example), which I believe Hetzner includes. I have made things worse by trying different values. Now dig (Linux) and nslookup (Windows) don’t see either the site or the subsite.
It is set up now only to host jitsi meet in a subdomain, meet.monaghanmeet.org. Strangely, I get a 404 not-found error going to the subdomain while going to monaghanmeet.org now brings up the Jitsi page, if that's helpful. I know there is a thread on this but I think my situation is different and posting there (a couple levels down) has not caught attention. TYVM for any guidance.

Hello, I've had a question for a while and I can't get a consistent answer from cold chain dealers/installers/companies.
Is there a standard horsepower (HP) per Square meter (SQM) of a cold storage facility? to maintain at least -18 celius
Won't go into details but this some specs would be
This is for distribution cold chain - lots of going inside and outside of the cold facility (heat loss consideration?)
basic panels - nothing specifically special but what is offered by cold facility builders. (basic insulation panels)
Rectangular space layout - square layouts have better airflow i assume?
Hopefully, someone can help me with this or at least in your experience.

This waiting is killing me. I received a letter Nov 22nd saying I’d been found medically approved, but they were still deciding if I meet non-medical requirements, which should take 15-30 days. Two weeks later my portal changed saying my claim had been sent from my local office to Baltimore processing center. It’s been 60 days now and still no word. I’ve called the local office and all they can say to me is “it’s still at the processing center.”
For those of you who received that letter, how long did it take for your official approval? The anxiety of this is too much!
