Hello, as the title says, I’m trying to replace a part on my Moccamaster and having trouble figuring out where the third contact wire is supposed to go after disassembling and now reassembling. There doesn’t seem to be a prong for the third wire. Is it possible it broke off? I forgot to take a picture as I went. Can you please help me?

I've only been on SC for just over a year and I haven't looked to see how many are online in the UK section for months. I looked today because I was looking for my room and I was shocked to see how many more models there were online now compared to 6+ months ago.
I know the agency I used to be with has tried to move all their models over to the site because of SM being slow. I think they did that a couple of months ago, and there are obviously new models signing up all the time.. but I'm wondering if this is usually how it is at the start of the year or is this SC being permanently over saturated now? I was on SM and AW for 3 years and I never really paid much attention to how many models were online at any time. It certainly explains why SC has been a lot slower as well at the usual quieter January.
What are your thoughts on this?

I know cats are not humans and do not have as high an intellect as humans.
During 2020 I was bored in my apartment. Even though I could go outside, use the internet, and exercise, I was still bored.
It's always talked about how the lifespan is a lot shorter due to the risks of the outdoors. But I definitely would rather live to 30-40 with an exciting life than live a safe, not as exciting life to my 80s or further. I would not want to die of old age, I would much rather want to die early before my body breaks down.

Sometimes I think about the possibility that many of my female ancestors were forced to continue the bloodline. I don’t want children ever but I often hear people saying “think about all of your ancestors trying their hardest to survive and now you want to just end it”. But then I think about how many of them were a product of child marriage, rape and dying in childbirth. No access to birth control and basically the property of men. I find it to be a really disturbing thought and shows how brutal and non consensual our origins are. I hate being human sometimes especially as a woman but I’m glad I was born in a somewhat less horrific era (although unfortunately still awful for a lot of people)

Thanks for reading, hopefully someone can give me some advice. I'm not too sure where to start.
Unfortunately my mother passed away a few months back suddenly and unexpectedly. She was living in Canada, and was retired, but only recently. She had two pensions setup, one from the government and private. I'm setup to receive the survivor's benefit on both of them.
The government pension will be paying out $1400 per month for a couple of years. The private pension is significant, with about $230k in total. I can take this out as a lump sum up front, or as monthly payments over the next 10 years. I need to decide which I want to do. This is of course all before tax and in Canadian dollars.
I understand there will be an inheritance tax taken off from the Canadian government, but I'm not sure how this will work with income tax here. I'm an Irish resident and have paid taxes here for sometime.
I'm trying to understand if there is a "best" option for getting this money and potentially investing it. We have some basic retirement savings setup for ourselves, but it's nowhere close to where it should be for our age (40s).
My wife and I own our own home, apart from the outstanding mortgage. It's nothing fancy, but we don't need it to be. We bought at a good price and I'm certain it's worth much more than we paid at this point. We both make good money, and have no problem paying it off over time.
Is there someone I can talk to about our situation and get guidance? I've looked online for a financial advisor but mostly all I'm seeing is warnings about how much they'll cost and how finding the right one who really cares can be difficult.
Can anyone shed some light on how income tax will work with this? Am I crazy to think that any amount I move over from Canada needs to be counted as income?
If anyone has advice on what exactly I should do with this I'm interested to hear. I feel like putting some toward our mortgage to break the back of it quickly could be a good move, but with the low interest rate I'm not sure if it would beat the return we'd get on some other investment over time. TBH I know very little beyond the basics.
