Hi guys just had a question as the title states. For more details my haircut is normally a bit more than a buzzcut with a bit more on top and will be just long enough to test. I was a daily cart concentrate smoker for over a year and stopped about 7 weeks ago and got my normal haircut 3 weeks ago. Also if it helps I’m pretty a skinny male at about 120-130 lbs currently. Also I took some care when the test seemed to be closer at hand and bleached my hair once about 2 weeks after quitting and then once more the week after and have since died it back to normal. I should have the test in the next week or two.

2025.01.23 18:56 nowteddy Xperia Does Not Respond to Charging
Hi everyone - one of my Xperia devices (5 III) has stopped accepting any charge.
I first noticed that it was losing battery percentage whilst plugged in (thus I unplugged it) then within the next few hours, it refused to charge at all.
And thus the battery went flat. At this point, I was away from home and could not charge it. After a few more hours, the screen went completely black (no longer showed the low battery symbol), although the notification LED continued to flash red for a few more hours when pressing the power button.
One of my wires will show how many watts of power is reaching the phone and it says 0W. I have tried multiple high-quality plugs and wires all of varying power outputs that all definitely work on my other older and newer Xperia devices.
I have tried many, if not all, of the usual solutions; holding the power + volume up buttons, tried connecting to a PC (no response), cleaning with ISO alcohol, etcetera.
Tried some more unusual potential solutions such as putting a SIM card into the device and attempting to boot, etcetera.
I have never had any issues before and the battery was in good health (never charged beyond 80-90% and rarely fell below 30-40%).
If anyone can help or has potential fixes, it will be much appreciated!
Although, I understand it is likely to be a hardware failure, of which, I am comfortable with opening up the Xperia, soldering and replacing parts - I would just need to know where to look or what exactly to replace.

I’ve started playing Dune on my Rog Ally through Xbox cloud gaming. I’ve been trying to add a crew to my harvester. I’ve clicked the left stick to go into mouse mode, clicked the button on the harvester window to bring up crew box but when I click add it asks do I want to disband unit. What am I doing wrong?

Other than Bitcoin, no crypto can make the decentralized argument. Almost all of them either fail to differentiate from Bitcoin or have not proven to have a use case despite much hype and lot of marketing.
We have the neutral, mathematically sound energy currency for the world. The question now is can crypto really do something else? I don't think it's certain that tokenization is a legitimate use case beyond speculation. Remember that even the concept of tokenization and Dex originally came from Bitcoin layers like Mastercoin and Omni first and failed to find a market long before the altcoin bubble of 2017.
Since then, we haven't seen any new innovation in crypto. People just jump from one memecoin to next. One of the most innovative projects has actually been MOONS! It has some social use cases, is arguably more decentralized since Reddit burned its stake and simply lacks awareness at this time.
For those who believe tokenization and Dex have potential beyond memecoins, isn't Solana a FAR better alternative to Ethereum. Compared to Bitcoin, neither is even remotely decentralized but they shouldn't be compared to Bitcoin. They should be compared to each other based on usability. Solana is undeniably faster and more usable than Ethereum.
In this day and age, Ethereum just feels like a turgid outdated monstrosity caught between trying (and failing) to be "world computer" and then trying (and failing) to rebrand itself as a competitor to Bitcoin as sound money, which is simply a preposterous notion.
