 | I was playing a competitive game solo on abyss. It seemed like a pretty normal game. My team had comms. No one was being mean and we were all chatting, having fun. The enemy team was getting pretty frustrated and upset, because they had a team mate go AFK second round. They were pretty chatty about the situation. I can understand why though because it is frustrating when someone goes AFK and never comes back. Well, the score was 11-3 when all of a sudden I was sent to a loading screen? I'm working with some other men in my church to start a TL troop. Some of us have boys too young to start the program (2-3 yrs) while others are empty-nesters. I know there is a contingent of boys in the church that we can recruit, and we're connecting with fathers to discuss it, but I'd like to plan some "teaser" events that can generate some interest between now and the fall (when we'd like to kick off the formal troop).
Unfortunately, my only thought is a camping trip. This is a great idea that we would like to plan for the summer but I'm at a loss for other ideas. At this point, we have paid the charter fee and are waiting for background checks, etc. so these things would ideally be a single event that includes the fathers/father-figures of the boys. I have a meeting with the (still unofficial) Troop Committee this weekend to discuss event plans.
Were there any informal/simple events that you hosted as you ramped up for a full troop? What about recruiting events for an existing troop that might translate well into this scenario?

Hi unfortunately I’ve come down with the Flu. I’ve been taking MTX (Methotrexate) for about 4 months now. When you are sick are you supposed to take your MTX or should you skip it? For those of you who are more seasoned with MTX what do you all normally do? My doctor did tell me when I first started the medication that if I should be on antibiotics then def skip it. I’m not on antibiotics just dealing with Flu symptoms and today is my pill day.

Hi everyone, not sure if this will even post. I'm a senior in college finishing my degree in International Studies. I have never had an internship, not for lack of trying, I've applied like crazy but my GPA is not great as I had a very rough freshman and sophomore year, and I never joined clubs. I guess I just want any opinion on what I could possibly do to use this degree when I graduate. I know I did college the wrong way, it's been a rough couple of weeks. I am considering Americorps or something similar, and I have no debt. Any opinions are appreciated!!
