Mid December got an Interview for an internal position at a big company, interview went extremely well and I felt like I had the position right after the interview was conducted.
Fast forward to 4 weeks later, hearing nothing from anyone, I get a text from the person who conducted my interview saying they wanted to confirm my start date that morning. We ended up talking on the phone about the situation and how I haven’t even received an offer letter yet. They state they told HR to send the request and make it happen the week prior, but I still have yet to receive anything officially. This phone call definitely let me know they were moving forward with me… right?
So, a week passes from my expected “start date”. (5 weekend from interview) This process was taking much longer than I expected, I wanted to let them know about an upcoming vacation that I already had booked months ago, (was not asked about any trips I had booked during the interview nor the phone call) So since it was coming up soon I figured I’d let them know because it will definitely affect my start date.
I send a very professional message to them, just giving the dates I was going to be away, and the trip is 6 days long. Then… nothing. They read my message, but did not give a response.
I wait a week (6 weeks from interview) and I send another message, they told me to keep them updated if they don’t send the offer letter on our phone call. This message was very short just stating I have yet to receive the offer letter, while also asking if I should contacting the recruiter. That message wasn’t even read, just left on delivered.
I then contact the recruiter asking if there is any updates since the interview, and they state no updates on their side.
Did I do something wrong?? Do you think I still have the job?

Całe życie wmawiano mi, że MUSZĘ chodzić do kościoła, że MUSZĘ się modlić, bo inaczej spotka mnie kara i pójdę do piekła czy spotka mnie nieszczęście. Moja rodzina chodziła do kościoła w niedziele, ale tylko to. Spowiedź co jakiś czas i uważali, że są zbawieni. „Módl się za nas, bo nas zabraknie”, „Dzięki Bogu operacja się udała, wymodliliśmy to” (miałem operowane zatoki we Frankfurcie). Żaden argument do nich nie trafia, że może ja nie potrzebuję tej wiary, tylko ich wsparcia. 27 zima na karku, swoje mieszkanie, a nadal przy zjeździe rodzinnym słyszę, że wszystko co mam, to dzięki przychylności Bożej, a jak tylko pomyślę ile istnień te wszystkie religie pochłonęły, to jest mi niedobrze. Niektóre z nich segregują, a nawet ograniczają prawa ludzkie, np. kobietom. Patrzę na tych katolickich „głosicieli słowa Bożego” i widzę taką samą obłudę jak u moich rodziców. Ani oni, ani moi rodzice nie stosują się do przykazań, które tak żwawo głoszą i wysłuchują co niedzielę.
Bardzo dużo jeżdzę po kraju, taka praca. Jak przejeżdzam przez niektóre wioski, to mnie coś bierze. Domy ubogie, widać poczciwi, bogobojni i biedni ludzie, a kościoły to jak z bajki. Przy kościele zawsze samochód na który nikt z tamtejszych ludzi nigdy sobie nie pozwoli, a jednak zbierają od ludzi non stop, płacą podatki państwu i jeszcze im muszą, bo co sąsiedzi powiedzą. Obrzydza mnie wręcz wiara jak to wszystko widzę. Lepiej mi się żyje patrząc wprost, żyjąc zapobiegawczo i przyjmując wszystko na siebie, wyciągając wnioski, a nie zrzucając wszystko na coś, w co jedynie można uwierzyć.
