Hey everyone, I need advice on a frustrating work situation. I’m starting to feel really undervalued, and I’m wondering if it’s time to move on. Here’s the context:
I work at a small company (no HR), and my main responsibilities are handling payroll, reports, assisting PM’s, and administrative tasks, as well as learning accounting. I’ve been here longer than our new office manager, who has a lighter workload (15-20 hours a week compared to my 30-35 hours). Despite this, she’s been singling me out for cleaning duties, which I find degrading and unrelated to my role.
This has been going on for a few weeks despite me urging for a different approach— like hiring professional cleaners. Last week, she emailed me asking me to do things like deep-clean the bathrooms, kitchen, and office spaces (taking out garbage, wiping desks, checking for dishes, etc.). I was busy, but she emailed me again this morning saying that things weren’t done, like it’s my sole responsibility. She’s even said that since project managers “make the money, they shouldn’t be cleaning toilets”. Verbatim.
I’ve told her multiple times—both in writing and verbally—that I feel uncomfortable and degraded being assigned housekeeping duties, but she won’t listen. It feels like she’s deliberately singling me out because I’m the only one she feels comfortable managing.
What makes it worse is that when I brought up the unfairness of this, she compared my office pay to a housekeeping wage and essentially said I don’t deserve a raise because of that. For context, I’ve already been told by the owner that my raise is on hold until I “learn more responsibilities,” even though I’ve been running the admin side of things alone for months and training the office manager.
We don’t have HR, so I’m planning to talk to the owner directly about this today. The owner is often out of the office and doesn’t always give clear direction, so I’m not sure how much progress I can make. I’m not going behind the managers back, since ive made multiple attempts to resolve this fairly but my opinions and concerns are dismissed.
This whole situation makes me feel degraded, underappreciated, and singled out. I like my job otherwise, but this dynamic has me wondering if it’s time to quit if there is no fair conclusion.
How would you handle this conversation with the owner? And do you think it’s worth staying in this job, or should I move on? Any advice is welcome.

Hello!
This is sort of silly but I’ve found that it’s extremely enjoyable for me to watch some shows in the true chronological order, in the sense that I’m seeing it as it happens on a timeline.
As an example, watching Jujutsu Kaisen in true chronological order entails watching the first 5 episodes of season 2, the movie, season 1 and then the rest of season 2.
I thought about how I would do this for FMAB and realized that it would not be an easy feat at ALL. This is due to the fact the flashbacks are short and spaced out. They would need to be spliced together and this would change the pacing of the original scenes/episodes left in the wake.
I’m crazy enough to do this. Do you guys think this would work?

From the third picture you can see that the attachment doesn't align with the screw hole but I bought the correct singer attachment. I (M/28) am having surgery in 2 weeks to remove the tail of my pancreas, my spleen, and my gallbladder. Started experiencing chronic acute pancreatitis a little over 2 years ago (likely due to pancreas divisum but hard to tell according to the various docs I've worked with) with my first and most intense bought of severe acute pancreatitis landing me in the hospital for 3 months. This was from a combination of my pancreatitis not resolving for weeks in the hospital, blood clots forming and my stomach rupturing after having stents placed. Had to have emergency surgery on my stomach as well as open surgical necrosectomy with a large part of my pancreas dying. Was unable to eat for months and was down to <110lbs in the hospital. My main pancreatic duct is now dilated since the fluids have nowhere to go with the middle part of my pancreas being completely dead and debrided. Even though pancreas divisum is likely the initial cause of the SAP the current state of my pancreatic duct is causing repeat instances of various levels of acute pancreatitis. After having multiple ERCP attempts fail to fix this surgery is now my last chance to try to get back to normal living. My question is if anyone here has had similar surgical experiences and what has their life been like since? Has removal of the spleen and gallbladder affected your diet or immune system in a noticeable way? If so what tips would you have for me once I get discharged? Praying the surgery goes well and I can hopefully avoid having future attacks.

I'm thinking about buying the game just because I've heard a lot of good reviews! Considering the game itself cost $50 CAD and the other DLC's costing north of $25 CAD, Do you need to have all the DLC's to play online?
For example: Am I still able to race with others who have cars that I don't access to? Like Lets say I only have the free Mclaren GT3 car am I still able to race with a person who has a BMW GT3?
