I (22F) finish school in May but don’t graduate till September. I’m thinking about going on a work visa to Canada for 1-2 years after I graduate. There’s a big part of me thats really on the fence as I know family members wouldn’t approve/think it’s stupid. It would be a big step as I live in Europe. The other option would be to stay and either struggle to find a job (like I am doing now) or go do a two year masters to get into teaching, which I know is not a career I want to do but considering my degree is in arts, I feel limited. I absolutely love to travel and throughout college I still lived at home which was nice and saved money but I’m ready to become more independent and branch out of my town. I’ll be 23 in two months and I want to be able to live on my own terms rather than others expectations. This may sound overly dramatic but I would appreciate others opinions, as I do feel stumped.

While driving to a job site I passed a place on General Daniels Hwy (US 29) with an arch that said “Snug Harbor” with a ton of confederate flags. Does anybody know what this place is? Is it just a random private residence? Google isn’t doing me any favors here.

Hi there! I've been super bored at work and I am struggling to stay awake for these last few hours. It would be cool to have someone to talk to and maybe send voice notes. Aside from that I sometimes play games, not as much at the moment since I am in studying and working full time. I'm a pretty silly person and I don't take myself too seriously, and it's ideal that you guys are carefree and don't take anything that I say too seriously either. 2025.01.23 19:44 junkfunk39 HM in 13 weeks. Have got bronchitis - what to do?
HM in 13 weeks. Just been diagnosed with bronchitis.
Argh. I completed my first 10k in the first week of Jan and it went well enough for me to sign up for my first HM at the end of April. I had planned a nice long 15 weeks training block so I could take it really easy. I started feeling like I was getting a cold early last week and decided I had enough time in my plan to take a week off and hopefully feel better by this Monday. Nope.
Woke up at the weekend feeling diabolical and have just not been feeling any better at all. Finally went to the GP today who told me I've got viral bronchitis and I must rest. Apparently it can take a few weeks to get better. I'm breathless doing small things and my chest rattles like there's no tomorrow.
I'm obviously going to rest but I'm now really worried about missing so much training for my HM. Any advice from more experienced people out there? Anything I can do while I'm recovering so as not to lose all my fitness?
