I'm honestly debating on how to write this out. I'm a 17 year old that's friends with a 13 year old, I made a crunchyroll account so I can watch my shows and have my friends also watch them. My friend decided to add her sister to my account without ever talking to me about it or asking me, I later changed the password and kicked everyone out. I later gave the password to my best friend and my fiancé so they can get in. This morning my friend asked me why she can't get in and I played it off like I didn't know and I honestly don't know if I'll ever tell her. None of them pitch in for the bill and her sister still owes me $20 so that's another reason why I'm mad about it. So am I the asshole?

I have ~$1300 credit from a rental instrument. They won’t let me use it on an $800 Epiphone. Instead, they’d rather give me a $1300 violin.
I know the rental side is probably handled by a sub-contractor, but seriously? They’d rather lose $500? That’s a lot of margin to give up. The contract doesn’t even specify what kind of instrument could be purchased. It has some limits on rental exchanges, but not purchases.
Yes, I’ve tried talking to them. Getting a valid response is slow.
The whole situation is baffling to me.

Honestly, the process of scheduling this interview made me nervous. My interviewer seemed busy, and we rescheduled a couple of times, once through his secretary contacting me. Also, my interview was at his workplace in a very nice area where he holds a high position. So, I was kind of nervous, but it turned out well because my interviewer was really nice. Weirdly enough, this was my shortest interview but also somehow my most comprehensive one.
Here are the questions he asked that I can remember:
- Tell me about yourself- where you come from, who you are?
- This one was kind of awkward because he just kept waiting for me to say more. I would stop talking and then he'd just stay silent and wait for me to say more so I noticeably struggled here.
- Describe your high school
- I talked about programs, courses, and the general community
- What are your extracurriculars?
- What are your academic interests?
- Do you have any other extracurriculars?
- At this point, I had talked about all of them. He was squeezing all the information he could out of me, which I appreciate because even though I struggled a bit I feel like this ended up being my most thorough interview yet out of the five I've had thus far. I ended up talking about stuff I like to do outside of school activities.
- What have you read recently/what is your favorite book?
- this was a follow-up because I said I like to read
- If I ask your friends about you, how would they describe you?
- What was the biggest obstacle you’ve ever faced? How did you overcome it?
- What would you contribute to Harvard? How will you pursue your academic interests at Harvard? Why Harvard?
- Do you have any questions for me?
Remember that your interview experience and questions will vary with your interviewer. But don't stress too much about it! Also, you don't have to do this, but I sent a thank-you email after my interview. Remember that these interviewers are volunteering their time, so it's good to show your appreciation for the opportunity.
Also, I would recommend taking advantage of the opportunity to ask questions. My interviewer kinda just let me yap so asking questions allowed us to be a little more conversational. I ended up learning about different opportunities and a question I asked created a moment where we could relate, plus it demonstrated enthusiasm.
For attire: it really depends on the setting. if you're meeting in a cafe you can dress a little more casually but if you're meeting in an environment like their workspace, you should dress a bit more formally. I think the best guideline to follow is to dress how you think your interviewer will be dressed and when in doubt lean towards business casual.
I know this is kind of long but I hope it was helpful! Keep in my I am only a fellow applicant so obviously take everything I say with a grain of salt. Good luck to everybody!

Hi, after upgrading from an i5 8400, MSI B360M PRO-VDH, and GTX 1060 6GB to a Ryzen 5 5600, MSI B550A PRO, and RX 7600 XT, I started having problems with CS2. I have an IIYAMA G-Master GB2470HSU-B1 monitor, which is 165Hz and FreeSync-compatible. FreeSync is enabled, and 165Hz is set everywhere possible. I'm generating around 350 FPS, but the image looks like it's capped at 100 FPS max. When I enable V-Sync or limit the FPS to match the refresh rate, it looks much better. However, it still doesn't feel as smooth as I expected.
In CS:GO, on the same monitor and with the same FPS, I didn’t experience any tearing due to excessive frame rates. I had well above 300 and did not experience any tearing. Is there a setting I might have overlooked? Thanks in advance for any tips!

I’ve been having this problem for the better half of last year. I downloaded the brave browser and it was working there for a while and now i get these crazy coding texts sprawling across the screen like chrome and safari. Sometimes I don’t even see the coding I just have blank white screen. But, oddly enough the app works perfectly fine on my phone and has been consistently. I do really need the computer browser tho because it helps me finish my work im doing with photoshop quicker. If someone has any suggestions please let me know!

İyi günler dilerim arkadaşlar, 07 Aralık 2024 tarihinde yeni kiralık evime taşındım. Evin faturaları alt kat ile ortak ve iki daire de ev sahibime ait. Kendisinden faturaları ayırmasını istesem de faturaların tek olduğunu ayıramadığını ve aboneliklerin kendi üzerine olduğunu söyledi. Bir çözüm yolu aramayı teklif etsem de oralı olmadı. Ben de eski evimden acil çıkmam gerektiği için bu eve taşınmak zorunda kaldım. 8 Ocak ve 12 Ocak tarihlerinde su ve doğalgaz faturalarının gelmesi gerekiyordu ve bunlar ödeyeceğim ilk faturalardı. Fakat faturalar nedense benim daireme kağıt şeklinde gelmiyor haliyle ev sahibinin bana bildirmesi gerekiyor. Ev sahibim bana faturaları atmadı, bende de sadece su faturasının abonelik numarası vardı. Neden ev sahibi hala bana faturaları atmadı diye merak edip su faturasını kontrol ettim ve 2 daire için 5.200tl lik bir fatura geldiğini gördüm. Ev sahibine bu durumu ilettim kendisi de bir problem olabileceğini ve kontrol edeceğini söyledi. Kontrol etmek için geldiği gün doğalgaz faturasının da 6.200 küsür geldiğini öğrendim ve iki faturanın problemi de tesisat kaynaklıymış. Kendisi iki daireye de tesisatçı çağırdı fakat hala ne su ne de doğalgaz için bir çare bulunmadı yani problem hala devam ediyor. Bildiğim kadarıyla evi kiraya verirken tesisat vb. problemlerin önceden kontrol edilip verilmesi gerekiyor fakat ben bu ayın faturalarıdan sorumlu muyum? Evin bana problemsiz teslim edilmesi gerekmiyor muydu? Ayrıca problemler hala çözülmediği için bu fahiş fiyatlar gelecek ay faturalarına da yansayacak. Ben bu fahiş faturaları ödemek zorunda mıyım? Yardımcı olursanız sevinirim teşekkürler şimdiden.
