Description of Original Problem: I'm experiencing a strange issue where my displays will randomly freeze for a split second, no matter what I am doing or what I'm running. My speakers are plugged into my monitors, and when this happens the audio screws up as well. Sometimes this doesn't happen for long periods of time, but when it starts, it continues to occur every few minutes until I restart my computer.
Troubleshooting: Restarting my computer occasionally stops this problem, but not always. I'm not sure where to begin trying to solve this issue. I should note upgraded from Nvidia to AMD on a fresh windows install. I am hoping this is a software issue and not hardware damage or something.

 | Hello! I used to play a ton in high school and college, and saved up to buy this Gemeinhardt flute after a bunch of bidding on eBay in like 2010. I haven't played in years and have moved on to different instruments. I recall it being pretty pricey at the time(500-1k USD ish), but in looking online I can't track down the model on the Gemeinhardt website or being sold anywhere else that seems legit. Barrel says KGM Standard, 1749, solid silver, gold lip plate, in good condition and had it serviced before storing it in the house. Every now and then I take it out and polish it. Any insight would be nice, and would love to sell it to someone who would appreciate it if possible, but if it's not worth much at this point maybe I would keep it. So, 1 month post break up. We were together for 5 months, and it was such a whirlwind relationship. Anyways, he fucked me up big time during the breakup and after. Of course, I have called him multiple times after the break up to get back together but he just wasn’t having it, and has reduced me to trash and pieces.
He created so many insecurities that I NEVER had before dating him. It’s all a cluster fuck really. The worst part is that I feel worthless, and unloved and just a piece of trash. My ego has been severely hurt, and I’m an extremely intelligent, independent and atttactive woman (I’m not trying to gas myself up). But anyways, I know im not ready to actually date date, and I know I have some HEAVY healing to do and be on my own and enjoy my own company again.
The thing is, I am so ego broken that I downloaded a dating app and started matching with other men with the sole purpose of going on a few dates and build my confidence back up so then I can actually isolate and heal on my own without feeling so shitty. My ex has really made me feel all the things that I am not, and I need outside reassurance that other men do see me as a great woman before I can isolate and heal. It’s just that my ex has gotten into my head so bad that I’m honestly stating to believe everything he has said about me is true (which is not).
Anyways, have you tried this method or what do you think?

2025.01.23 21:12 H1Supreme Trouble Resolving Circular Dependency
I'm working on an application that builds forms dynamically. I have a suite of controlled form components that wrap native HTML elements like: input, select, etc.
Additionally, I have more complex components that combine those components, and some that launch modals / popovers that also contain forms. The latter being where my circular dependency issues are.
An example import diagram highlighting the issue:
Form -> ComplexComponent -> Modal -> Form
My first idea was to build a separate FieldForm component that would be used in any form components that need to launch a modal (or popover). So the import paths would now be:
Form -> ComplexComponent -> Modal -> FieldForm
However, FieldForm could still import ComplexComponent, so I would be back at square one.
My next idea was to move all my form related, modal, and popover items to a single index file and export everything from there. But, that feels like an anti-pattern since it would negate all the work I've put into abstracting these items, and I'd have a massive js chunk in my production builds. Plus, I'm using Vite which discourages barrel files.
If I could launch a Modal without importing it into ComplexComponent, I think my issues would be solved, but I don't see how that's possible. A lazy import, if I'm understanding correctly, would still have the circular reference once it was imported.
So, I'm stuck, and looking for suggestions.

Technically a question as well as feedback, enjoying the game so far I'm only 12 hours in but good lord, I don't think I've ever googled so many questions about a game in my life, am I crazy to think basically none of the game is explained beyond kill bad men, loot bad men, exit area
There was no real explanation on anything bar unlocking and slotting a few skills, I still don't really "know" if I'm doing the right thing I'm just trial and erroring it I've just done the ascendant trial for the first time
Also just found out as I thought maybe I should try out the trading system, expecting it to be an auction house style thing, that it's all manual, I get it's early access so I'm gonna ask and pray the answer is yes they have mentioned this but, are they working on an auction system or anything like that?
Because manually searching for things... ain't fun, and you might finally find the item you want and then the guy is offline or already sold it
Not trying to be super negative just those were the two main things that stand out to me and I can only assume people who played PoE will have it way easier if this game is expecting me to have played that, to understand PoE 2

Been using my PCL since early September with prescription lenses. Yesterday when I started an evening session - the headset had been just fine for my afternoon session - I got a magnified image. I was playing In Death on SteamVR and the orphans were huge! The arrows appeared to be flying off like rockets, and I could hit next to nothing (I'm in the top tier so not doing badly, usually).
I started moving the IPD wheel, which has been next to useless anyway, and something seemed to shift in the headset and suddenly it was as it should be. I am definite this is not an actual IPD issue - I reckon something inside is loose - especially considering that IPD wheel has done nothing since new. Anyone else had this happen?
