I am Fairly New to brewing I’ve made about 6-7 batches of beer and am still learning. But I wanted to try some mead and went to the liquor store and saw the prices and was appalled at $32 plus tax for any Dansk Mjød 750Ml bottle. So I thought I need to make some. I’m planning on making a Cyser and this is my recipe and I’m going to refer to the Tonsa calculator for yeast nutrient once I get my OG.
3.5 Gal of apple cider(I’m going to see what Sprouts has available)
7 Lb of Nate’s Organic Honey.
This is where I am stuck, I want to add some hops not sure what to use, hence why I’m reaching out, I also know that I need to use some tannin and acid if acid is necessary at all, and for tannins I’m thinking of using some strong black tea but, don’t know how many tea bags and how long to steep. If anyone could add some pointers on these things I greatly appreciate it. I also want to ask should I use Pectic Enzyme, I know I don’t have any fruit skins, but I’ve heard with Cysers it works well. And for the final portion of my recipe Yeast nutrients and yeast. I plan on using Lallemand K1-V1116. I plan on using this yeast due to the fact I’m using a juice, it’s high alcohol tolerance, and the fact I live in SoCal so I don’t have any temperature control. And for yeast nutrient I looked at what tonsa calc said and it recommended mixing the yeast and gofers together and using Fermaid O additions, it didn’t mention DAP, if you have any suggestions I’m all ears. If you’re still here I greatly appreciate your time and input. If you’d like to suggest a recipe that includes a high ABV mead recipe that uses 7LB of honey for a 3.5gallon batch I’m all ears, Cheers!!!

I am in my 5th week and have noticed something unusual. I take 100mg/week test cypionate , split into two doses of 50mg each (Tuesday morning and Friday evening). My libido is decent, and my erections are normal, but they go very high after a heavy leg day. On those nights, I stay hard all night, and the next morning, I experience “spicy nipples,” which go away after two days, returning me to normal.
Could this be because my natural testosterone is still in play, and leg workouts boost testosterone production, adding to the amount I’m injecting? With this in mind, I was considering splitting my dose every other day to maintain a consistent effect throughout the week and avoid the “spicy nipples” effect. What are your thoughts?

Was diagnosed with PCOS back in November and have been taking metformin and phentermine since. The last three days, I was feeling extremely nauseous after eating lunch, today being the worst when I thought I was going to pass out. I’ve been shaky and dizzy all afternoon. I tested my blood sugar when I got home and it said it was 55. I checked it again to make sure it was correct and it said the same thing. Has anyone else experienced metformin or phentermine significantly lowering their blood sugar? what did you do?

Hello, I'm F19, around 166cm, I weigh 90kg, going om a weight loss journey and I have alot of fat on my arms, thighs (I mean alot, like it looks like I have 4 thighs instead of 2) and obviously my stomach. I have a really bad diet and alot of deficiency, so I'm working on that, I am planning on working out but it'll mostly be at home workouts, there's no gym that's girls only and the nearest one is an hour drive, I can't drive lol
What can I do to minimise loose skin? My biggest fear is loosing the weight and having alot of loose skin so it'll look fat still. My goal is 70kg By October if possible, I want to also build muscle, di you have any tips? Thank you to anyone who will give me time from their day

Hi guys looking for some advice. I've been running voice-over and recording sessions remotely with clients using Zoom and PT Audio Bridge. Works great. But I found a problem, here in Aus government clients only use Mircosoft teams and not zoom. Issue being Mircosft teams isn't working like zoom. It just won't use audio bridge as an input or output on teams like Zoom does.
So question being anyone have a work around, at the moment it's just a dummy laptop in the booth with talent but if love a more elegant solution.
Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated

When I’m in session with people, I don’t let on that I think that they’re weak or that I loathe weakness, but I’m certainly thinking it. I fully understand that it’s my job to help people through things like anxiety, but it actually makes me lose respect for someone. I’ll still help, and I’ll patiently point out what you can do and how you can work on it, and I’m also fully aware of how people get to this place, but I still can’t stand it. Learned helplessness is one of the most annoying things I encounter. Waiting for other people to do things for you, hinging your behavior on someone else’s, what do you mean you can’t drive over a bridge? How have you not addressed this? If you don’t like driving over bridges how about you just drive over the bridge until you’re more comfortable with it. “I can’t” do this or that. No, actually you can. You just don’t want to and you have a belief that you “can’t.” Buck up kid.
