All I remember is that there was a lot of killing. There was a guy who killed one person and then I think another and he wanted his girlfriend to join him. At one point I believe he gives her a weapon so she can try it but she refuses. I think she might've used it against him to get away from him.
It might've been a purge movie but for some reason my brain is telling me it's a show/series. I know that Purge movies are all about crime (killing) being legal but I can't remember if all crime was legal in this story or if this guy was just killing people.
The last detail I remember is more subjective. I don't recall who he killed but when he did it was very intimate. He didn't defile the person's body or assault the person before they died. Intimate as in idk. He felt something that could maybe be perceived as erotic or sexually climactic when he did it and I don't know why.
Maybe it's from the show The Following that had Kevin Beacon in it but I haven't seen that in many years so I don't remember anything outside of the actor I mentioned.
It's set in modern-ish times so it isn't that scene with Joffrey and Margaery from GOT.
Please help.

What's the worst thing you ever did or currently do that changed your life for the worse?
I mean this for literally anything, drugs, relationships, crimes, road accidents and so on, even drinking some orange juice could count if it somehow changed your life for the worse
For me it was staying in my comfort zone too much as a teenager, this had a negative effect because I would always avoid trying to meet new people or going places where I'd be in a social setting and as a result of depriving myself of interaction with others, when relationships came to the table it broke me because I got too attached to the girls I was with & although I'm over it now and no longer socially awkward idk ever since having those few highly toxic relationships I've never quite felt the same mentally

Last night, while my wife and I were watching TV, we heard a couple quick knocks in the exterior wall of our living room. Nothing in the room fell, nothing in the room above fell, and nothing was out of place outside. With no obvious signs of movement elsewhere, I’m wondering if we heard the pipe to our outdoor spigot burst. We live in a typical Midwestern vinyl village on a slab so I’m not sure what I can do to go about checking. The spigots are frost proof, have been turned off from the valve in the utility closet for the winter, and they were left open without any hoses or attachments on them. What should/can I do to prevent filling my wall with water in the spring time?

2025.01.24 00:51 OneSignal6465 Can’t get Remote Desktop to work
I have the Remote Desktop client installed on my pc. It runs fine. When I try to connect to it via my Quest 3, it sees my PC, then tells me “press enter on the PC to continue” … I could tap enter until the heat death of the universe and it does nothin. It just won’t connect. What am I doing wrong?
As a side note, Remote Desktop on BigScreen is great, but you can’t do mixed reality with it. I want to see computer screens in my living room… Any suggestions?

 | I’m fairly crafty but had never tried rhinestoning before. I saw fans doing other jerseys like hockey ones, but baseball is my one and only sport. SO happy with how it turned out! Took me a little over 9 hours to do the numbers, nameplate, and front logo. So what can we do?
The way I see it we have 3 options
- End It All - Hard but definitive. Takes an extraordinary amount of courage, even though it’s ironically called “the cowards way out.” Shortest way to end the pain.
- Isolate - Organize your life circumstances to shield yourself from the world, staying inside getting high eating fast food playing video games, etc. And while satisfying at first since the world offers dopamine through your phone, that satisfaction turns to emptiness and loneliness. And your shield turns into a prison.
- Fight - Fight for respect, fight for dates, fight against the odds of a world that wants to crush you. This is the one life expects from us, although the fight of life is harder than it is for others. Through it, you can achieve career, family, relationship success. Things everyone thinks they want. But the hedonic treadmill never ends, you’re always chasing for more. Look at Elon, he has it all and is still chasing money and power.
- Love - To give without the expectation of a reward, because giving is the most fulfilling reward there is. Instead of looking at life as what it can do for you, what if we start reframing it as what can we do for life? Loneliness is prevalent, so organize events that bring people together and give them a sense of community. Start a weekly sports group where you and the boys can come together regularly and have fun. Once a month, throw a creative event for your community and family and allow everyone to revel in the joy you created.

I am currently in my first fallout 4 playthrough (actually 3rd but I never finished it). I remembered the vault tec salesman in the beginning of the game and was not let into the vault. I rented a room in hotel rexford in goodneighbor and ran into him who has now turned into a ghoul. That is the most surprised I have been in the last few years of gaming.
Did not expect Bethesda to do something this awesome and sad at the same time.
Meaning of this post is to ask if he is a part of the main quest. I have sent him to sanctuary for now, how do I milk him

Hi there! I’m back with another puppy question- My husband accidentally overcorrected the puppy. Obi kept not coming to him (he already knows his name) and my husband grabbed him by the scruff to bring him. My husband did say he grabbed him fairly hard. He then panicked and bit my husband! It’s been about five hours and Obi has been moping around the house and still won’t come to him, despite apologies and kisses. It’s been about five hours!
My first question- my other puppy never bit us, ever. Is this something to be worried about? Obviously he’s a puppy and he was scared, but I obviously don’t want anything to start there.
The other thing- how on earth do we get him to trust my husband again? He’s amazing with dogs but this was the first bad instance. Tips?
