This might seem like a dumb question. But when people say they gain weight when taking Abilify or any other meds, does the med automatically make you gain weight. Or is it the fact that it can cause your appetite to increase therefore you will be gaining weight.
I have been taking Abilify for about 3 weeks now along with Wellbutrin + Lamotrigine and I already lost like 4ish pounds. For some reason I feel like my appetite has been suppressed ever since I started Abilify. Like today I had a slice of pizza and didn’t feel the need to eat for the entire day and I felt fine. Didn’t feel hunger at all.
Does anyone know of this will go away at all or does it stay permanently. For those that gained/ loss weight did you eventually return to the weight you started with?
