I swear to god if i see this sentiment one more time i’m going to lose my mind. pepperidge farm remembers when people used to clown on the Nats for deferring hella money. now the dodgers have basically build a dynasty on top of deferrals. don’t get me started on reporters salivating all over the Dodgers’ so called savvy.

Hi All! 2 weeks ago I was discarded by a fearful avoidant. After 3 months of the most intense focused love and affection... he suddenly went cold. After a week of him gaslighting me that nothing was wrong, I finally pushed him. He pretty much immediately agreed something was wrong and we were over. He suddenly didn't see a future with me (3 days prior he was planning a trip in June for us and talking about us moving in together come Fall). I was too clingy and needy (anytime I would tell him to take the evening out with friends or the weekend for friends, etc he would adamantly state he didn't want that as I was the only thing that brought him joy. But apparently I was the clingy one lol.) I was completely blind-sided.
I was/am completely and utterly devastated. I couldn't understand why I was so wrecked by this short relationship. It was a blip! But I spent 3 days in bed just sobbing. I finally went to my therapist and she said "he sounds like a fearful avoidant. pretty textbook." I then went into a very deep dive as I was unaware of attachment styles. And BOY, was this guy textbook. I mean it was like he read the manual and followed every single step. I've been reading up on it nonstop.
To be clear, before we begin the next part, I have NO interest in getting back together with him. Everything I've read has explained I would be signing up for an actual nightmare. He would repeat this cycle over and over and over. The entire relationship will ALWAYS be about the FA. Nope,I ain't signing up for that.
BUT. I truly think he's a wonderful guy and it breaks my heart to think of him living his life this way forever. Not to mention the trail of soul crushed women in his wake. When we met to swap things I did bring up Fearful Avoidant Attachment style to him, but he sort of brushed it off and said "hmmm yeah i'll look into it" (spoiler; he likely won't look into it)
Maybe it's my deep dive and just being surrounded by all things fearful avoidant. But good lord I want this guy to heal, or at least try to. The idea of him living this miserable life, wrecking women just kills me.
So, I was thinking about reaching out to his father. They're SUPER close and he values his opinion above all else.
is this a horrible idea? If so, why? If it's a good idea, how should I word it?

2025.01.24 00:28 Due-Caramel-1606 I have stutters in 2 games.
4070 Super, AMD R7 7700, 32 GB Kingston RAM, 2 TB Kingston SSD (1.3 TB empty), 1 Gbps internet upload and download. Never had an issue with the internet. The PC is two months old. It's my first PC; I'm not very good with them, but I'm a quick learner.
In games like Battlefield everything works 10/10. Smooth and beautiful
In Counter-Strike 2 and Rainbow 6 i have random stutters that annoy the fuck out of me.
I've tried changing settings in the game, changing Nvidia control panel settings, v-sync on and off, low latency options on/off, Nvidia Reflex on/off, and changing settings in the Nvidia app. No overlay is active on any app, and no app besides Steam is active in the background (as far as I can tell). I deleted temporary files and the shader cache in Windows settings; it didn't help. I did some things I saw on YouTube on a black panel in administrator mode that reset my internet connection or something; nothing changed. I still have stutters in these two games. The CPU doesn't get above 62°C in any game, my fans work well, and the GPU also seems to be working well (I didn't test it because I don't know how, but it doesn't do anything weird as far as I can tell). My drivers are up to date (I checked that the GPU and CPU drivers are up to date). Close to when I got the PC, I applied a negative CPU curve in the BIOS of -25 and a PPT limit of 75 W. (I've tried all kinds of combinations like -30/71 W, -20/75 W, -15/75 W, etc.; now I'm at -25/73 W.) I don't know what to do. My AMD Ryzen 7 7700 scores 17000 points (multi-core) in Cinebench at 54°C. For the love of God someone help me.
