I always prided myself on my ability to read and care for others emotions. My ability to do this came from trauma really because I learned to read my mother’s emotions from a young age in order to survive in our home. I have also always had a strong sense of self awareness which stemmed from being a heavily anxious person.
As I got older these abilities matured and I was able to use them out of love and not just survival or trying to control a situation. I was able to pick up on if I was using this skill to benefit/protect myself or if I was actually wanting to support the person in front of me. I was also able to dentist patterns in myself easily and manage pain well because I was so in tune with myself.
I thrived off of connection. I loved those around me and honestly I even loved myself.
I experienced some difficult things in the last couple years. The death and my brother and also my relationship with my mother tanked quickly after this too. It sent me into a spiral of anxiety, hyper independence, and depression.
After this I have not been able to come back to myself. I struggle everyday with understanding myself and why I’m feeling all the emotions I do. I struggle managing them as well. I’ve become toxic honestly. Negative as hell and allowing this to hurt my closest relationships. I have. A lot of worry around this. I don’t like myself anymore and I feel like I am constantly looking for ways to numb out everything.
If you’ve experienced this type of regression in your emotional intelligence/connection with yourself and other how have you gotten yourself back on track? I know this regression is an opportunity for growth. An opportunity to grow into a new version of myself who is not angry and sad all the time. Someone who isn’t who I used to be and long for but someone who can persevere even through deep pain. I just haven’t been able to get my footing. I want to go back to therapy but don’t have time in my schedule due to working a lot. It’s on my list of things but what can I do in the mean time? What do you guys suggest?
I want to save my relationships with those I am hurting and with myself as well.

Its been about a month since I've stopped taking Minoxidil almost cold turkey. I tapered off for about a week which probably isn't enough after applying for over 2 years. And I feel extreme fatigue with blood pressure issues.
Has anybody experienced the same? I'm not even sure if it's the Minoxidil withdrawal or if it's my already existing mental health issues. I did take 5HTP and I feel like that affected me more than the Minoxidil withdrawal but I'm not even sure at this point. Feedback is appreciated thanks.

I wanna get a job in a camera rental warehouse to learn all the equipment and build connections so I can eventually work on sets full-time in the camera crew. I have experience on indie sets in prod design and have shot some music videos with my Fuji Xt4, but I don't know much about gear apart from the basics. Do you guys think I have a shot if I walk into warehouses handing out my resume? And is there any way for me to study/ sell myself so that I have a better shot? Any advice is appreciated!

The second photo that I added was the result of me turning collision back on. I’m not sure on whether or not I should tag this post as not safe for work because of the blood in the second photo and the blood stained skull in the first photo, but I’ll do so just to be safe

 | Hello everyone, looking for some advice and maybe creative ideas we haven’t explored for a potential home extension. Picture 1 shows our working adjusted floor plan. Currently, our master bath is horribly tiny, we need to make it bigger, hence the reworked floor plan. We explored loosely working within our current footprint to make bigger master bath, but proves very difficult without removing a bedroom (which we don’t want to do for resale value). The floor plan proposal is to extend out over current covered porch for the master, making the room master is very long and narrow, open to recommendations here but this does ultimately solve the space problem (albeit much more expensive / bigger project). Would be great if we could figure out a way to make bath bigger without doing major construction, but we just aren’t seeing it… My biggest concern other than cost with the extension approach is - how strange will it look to go out to the right (pic 3 elevation)? Is there any way to make this not look so strange? We would make the bottom “current open porch” into a closed, 4 season porch/sunroom. Boylan Heights: Drink/food deals listed on their Instagram, liked it
Trin: Drink/food deals listed on their Instagram, liked it
Virginian: 3-7 on their instagram, was fine
Asados: Fantastic deal on food, 2 dollar of drinks fine with me
In terms of Corner food/drinks, Asados > Boylan > Virg > Trin. Personally I just like Boylan food over the other 2, your standard cheap beers and like college mixed drinks nth crazy (I am a student so I frequent these places)
Rest of Cville:
Umma's - Gone 😭😭😭😭😭 MY SHAYLA (Tiktok reference for old people)
Vision BBQ - Ends at 7, great deals food and drink, cool bartender, small place
Black Cow Chophouse: CRAZY good deal for what you get, its not really a happy hour more of an early dinner (I had steak, 2 NICE drinks for like < 45 out the door)
Maya: Happy hour changes a lot, same with the timings, its a chill lil place but more *refined* if that makes any sense
Whiskey Jar: Ends at 6, only ever order mixed drinks here and those are nice
Lucky Blue: I mean its fine no complaints but its not really a "happy hour" it was like a dollar off, good cheesesteak
Public Fish & Oyster: It was like $30 for a lobster roll and like 6-8 dollar for wine (was awhile ago), that being said best quality seafood in the city prob

Bebedero: Food is overpriced normally for me to justify mostly anything

Brightside Beach Pub: Love the place but it is tucked away a bit. Once you get in though really chill place a lot of food options, cool decor
Tonic: The most posh not-posh happy hour place. Realistically fine food, good place, not your traditional idea when you think "happy hour"
Tillmans: Wine Cheeseboard happy hour, its a vibe for sure but its wine not beer (i like wine so me happy)
South Street Brewery: Wednesday the only real day but SUPER good deal, food is also just really good
BJs: Overpriced for what it is, fine deal, love pizookie
Durty Nelly's: The only place where I'd be like maybe think about it if you're a family, fine deal, food was meh not great not bad
3 Notch'd: Best IPAs, I'm biased because it was the first badrink I had in Cville and it was with my parents, for that I love this place, realistically still good deal
Lazy Parrot Backyard bbq: Cheap restaurant made cheaper, fantastic deal and for price point can’t beat drinks and food
Applebees: I mean it’s Applebees
Firefly: it is a gay bar, but for happy hour I did see some families, good food good drinks
