I am 49 and haven't been a gamer ever. I have a 14 year old son who is an avid gamer, mostly Fortnight, GTA, Minecraft and Fifa sometimes.
I have recently separated and it's been tough. I have him 50% of the time. Would love to learn to play a VG together so we can connect virtually, even when he is not at home with me.
I can't to violence. What other suggestion of games would you have for a newbie like me and yet something that my son would enjoy too. Thank you.

I am an owner of a Nissan Leaf. There isn't a way to set the maximum charge percentage on a Leaf, i.e. only charge the car to 80% of the battery capacity. I am looking for a home charger to purchase but want it to have that feature.
Does the Emporia EV Charger have a feature to set the maximum charge percentage?

Ever since I had fraud on my debit card through the Microsoft store I have been unable to add a card to my Xbox account. I called the bank to check if there are any blocks, they confirmed none. Iāve tried different cards and copied and pasted all my details (name, address, etc) no luck. It always says that one of the fields is wrong. Contacted Microsoft support and they couldnāt help. Has anyone had a similar experience and found a work around? Or is my only option now to buy gift cards.

Hey everyone! The Pacific Coast Coffee Club was an idea that came from this subreddit, so I thought I'd give everyone an update. We all met for the first time ever time at Alta Vista park. People brought espresso machines, pour over setups and aeropress's. There was a bunch of coffee shared and had a few small batch, local roasters show up as well. Great event and a good mix of beginners, enthusiasts and pros!
IG followers increased 300x in the last week and the newsletter continually grows.
We're planning to get together again in a couple of weeks. Open Heart Studios is opening up their creative workshop to us from 10a-12p on Feb 9th. It is free and open to everyone. RSVP here. Bring coffee and equipment to share (not required).

Not sure if itās true, but I heard that some lenders are willing to wrap your personal debt into the va home loan. Is this true?
I just started making about 85k a year and Iām working on paying down 30k in debt. Currently renting in San Diego for 2k and Iād just rather start building equity in something I own. Iād like to know if buying property will ever be an option to me even with some debt.

2025.01.24 00:43 No_Roof_8845 Microsoft Surface Pro Stuck in "Unexpected Error" Doom Loop
Am really hoping someone here can help me.
While attempting a Windows reset, upon reboot I receive the "Unexpected Error" message, specifically: āThe computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. Windows installation cannot proceed. To install Windows, click āOKā to restart the computer, and then restart the installationā
To help fix the problem I created a fresh boot drive, but with the device won't boot from the usb.
What's more, I cannot access the BIOS to change the boot order. Thus far I have attempted the following methods I have found documented:
- Power the device on/off 3 times during the boot cycle
- Press and hold volume up(f6) when turning the device on
Please advise other methods to resolve this issue. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I donāt know how many people use the packages in the formations window, but I donāt think itās very many. I would love to see packages revamped to allow for more packages and custom packages.
It would allow for more formation flexibility if I could make a 12s personnel (1 back, 2 tight ends) package to use in any 11s personnel formation. The current packages can be useful at times, but allowing for customized packages would further improve the unique feel you strive for with your playstyle. I want to be able to run a regular 11s personnel formation like gun bunch nasty or y trips off wk, but with 13s personelle instead. EA would love it because they would be able to make less formations because people could have several different personelle groupings for one formation.

2025.01.24 00:43 BigfootsMailman What am I doing wrong with the JSAUX RGB dock?
This thing has been literally useless so far because it will not work with my Asus portable monitor or Xbox controller. The dock will not send a viable signal to the Asus zenscreen. The only way I can get it to display is USB directly from the Ally X. The monitor has USB C in and apparently the dock can't do video out on USB C so I tried the HDMI out with a USB C adapter into the monitor, but that did not work.
Even more inexplicable is the Xbox controller which does not work when plugged into USB C or USB 3 on the dock. Only the Ally X.
The dock is literally useless, doing nothing except passthrough of the power from the charger.
Any thoughts?
Is it driver issues? I don't understand how it fails to even connect the controller through the USB ports.

As the title says. In my crusader rank its kinda hard to assemble people.
And this spider is EVERYWHERE. you most likely die to her if you defend solo,if you dedicate 2 teammates to her,other lanes suffer and lose space even more, You try to stop her top,she goes mid super fast,you try to hunt her you lose farm and time(also other lanes lose space). Been losing every single game against her exactly the same way.
Not to mention smurfs like to last pick the hero so its even harder.
