While it’s touted as a breakthrough for managing attacks, there are some significant concerns about its safety profile that don’t seem to get the attention they deserve—especially from organizations and advocacy groups.
According to the clinical trial data shared in this Fierce Pharma article
Givlaari did not meet statistical significance for several secondary endpoints, including daily worst fatigue, daily worst nausea, and the physical health component of a quality-of-life survey. These are major concerns for patients managing porphyria. If the drug doesn’t significantly improve these symptoms, how much of an impact is it actually having on day-to-day quality of life?
The safety profile is much worse than expected: Serious side effects were reported in 21% of patients in the Givlaari group, compared to only 9% in the placebo group. That’s more than double the rate of serious adverse events for those taking the drug.
These are critical pieces of information, yet they are rarely shared openly in discussions about Givlaari. Patients deserve to have this information readily available when considering their treatment options. Transparency about both the benefits and the risks of treatments is crucial, especially when dealing with a rare condition like porphyria.
Why isn’t this being discussed more? Why do advocacy groups and organizations avoid bringing this data into the conversation? While Givlaari may be helpful for some, it’s clear that it isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution, and the risks involved are not insignificant.

Omg. I’m almost embarrassed to call myself out like this but I had to share. Before having my wonderful one year old I barely had to worry about any tinted makeup, but lo and behold postpartum and nursing have caused awful hormonal acne that makes me pretty insecure. I’ve been using a combination of hero cosmetics green balm and this Colourpop concealer (left side of photo) but after finding this sub I ordered About Face in F2 Olive and I finally got to try it out today!
Guys, I have never watched a concealer or foundation disappear on my skin before today. I used maybe a dime sized amount still in combination with the Hero balm and felt the best I’ve felt about my skin in a couple of weeks now since my last bad breakout.
I mean just LOOK at the difference in those shades lol. I don’t know what I was thinking when I panic bought that concealer at Target. Thank you all for the helpful swatches and such!

Heard USPS has been using this status for areas all over the US now regardless of impact. It just hit a plant order of mine that was scheduled to arrive in my area Saturday. Wondering if anyone else had this for a plant order and what are my chances or should I just expect DOA? One of my non-plant orders had this happen and was delayed weeks.

I saw a couple posts on how to get the new/average player into raiding. And coincidently, watching a video on CoD zombies and made me think… What if we had a directed mode for raids?
Helps guide newer players by giving some text help, markers on mechanics, and just some basic help to show how to perform mechanics. It would release some time after each new raid comes out. Offer like 1-2 raid pieces from completion.
Key portion here though is keeping rewards minimal but still reward for learning the raid. So we can keep standard, non-directed the primary goal to reach.

- 4 days ago, ashley posted a 9 min video titled "my truth" to promote her youtube, accusing aly of forcing her to come out, dating her for clout, and more.
- ashley quickly deleted the video, but fans saved and reposted it. she DMed them asking to take it down, calling it "unnecessary drama" (that she started?).
- her fans were skeptical of her story as the timeline was inconsistent. she got major hate, while aly gained support (aly stated she won't address it for her own peace).
- ashley claimed the video was a "private diary" she posted by accident (she promoted it on tiktok and edited it to be posted??)
- the situation doesn't have time to blow over before a tiktoker (_simplylifexo) shared a video of ashley kissing gia to the sound "can i get a kiss" by tyler the creator, time stamped October 13th 2024. She provided more screenshots proving it was recent (septum piercing, same nails, makeup, earrings).
- ashley's accounts were flooded with hate which got deleted and eventually her comments are turned off. she then falsely claims on her snapchat story that the video was from when she was 15-16 (ashley turned 17 in november, she would have still been in a relationship with aly or sav) and promised an explanation later that day, only to delete both stories hours later.
- the girl in the video gia (gia.lic/ pickle_hater0) is then identified and liking comments confirming it's her. she DMed people saying she'd only speak if she feels misrepresented by ashley's statement.
- meanwhile 2 days pass and ashley hasn't responded, but starts posting drafts to her spam account (notashleybarnes), weird but okay. she then likes a comment blaming savannah for cheating first, suggesting ashley wasn't wrong for kissing gia.. rightttt.
- savannah then admits to it in a 3 page story on her tiktok (ashleybarnesgf). in a nutshell savannah admitted to kissing her straight bestie and filming it (back in august), which led ashley to kiss gia as payback (in october??). she ends it by saying "ashley barnes is a good person".
- all of a sudden everyone is making ashley out to be the true victim..? and gia is NOT having it, posting/ reposting passive aggressive tiktoks and threatening to share her side.
- ashley then accused gia of blackmailing her on her snapchat story, which led to gia getting death threats and backing down out of fear.

I think I've seen a bunch of old post in this subreddit about Nine Peaks and one of the old post title says, "Hakkyou from Nine Peaks is basically Housen😭", and some people may have think that Aoba High (where the MC and his young father attended in) is basically Suzuran counterpart in Nine Peaks universe, but to me the real Suzuran in Nine Peaks is this freaking school. These freak looks like the final Boss. No telling, what's the name of this school and their delinquent doesn't get reveal and haven't even make a move yet.. Even these guy think that the other school (including Aoba) are "small fry" and all they have to do atm is to "Unite their own house", first.. Kinda gives me Suzuran vibes, inside..
