I've been back and forth on the impact of the Trump Administration on news, but after a few days, I am clearly seeing the news industry will probably get a serious boost from it. Aside of personal feelings towards what is happening--and I'm sure most people on this sub are aligned on this--at least for my clients (DC-based granted), the news cycle is crazy fast and opportunistic.
I think it was someone here awhile back who said as institutions are attacked and broken down, people seek credible, trusted information more than usual through media. And that can't be bad for the industry that we're in which has been on the downfall.

I recall hearing about Russia's "Sputnik" injection, which of course was never an option over here, anyone have any idea how their shots fared (in terms of meeting the "safe & effective" standard-turned-aspiration), or any other such "vaccines" outside the NATOsphere?
Kind of a tangent here: The person in my life whom I suspect died before his time thanks to what was supposed to be medicine, actually got the Johnson & Johnson shot, which I was later told was an adenovirus vaccine, the kind that actually IS a vaccine using the tried-and-true Edward Jenner technology, so what does THAT say? Maybe it really was just blood-pressure problems in his case...or maybe the J&J vaccine is still "tainted"; any leads?

2025.01.24 00:52 Few_Intention_542 [France] CDI offer rescinded 9 days before joining date. What are my options?
I was in a job for 6 years (CDI) decent pay, advantages and I left it to join a new company. I quit the old company on good terms and finished the exit notice period to join the new company. I had 2 weeks of time in between but, 9 days before the joining date for the new company, I got a call from them this morning saying they cannot go ahead with my hiring and will offer me 1 month of salary as compensation.
Their reason they gave is that they hired me as a data analyst but their data warehouse project is delayed so they cannot hire me since the system I would use is not ready. In the call the guy said all that corporate BS and then asked me for my “feedback” - I didn’t confirm or denied anything. I just said that I don’t have a job anymore since I finished my exit from the previous company so I will think about it and he needs so send me an email.

Seeing how flat-earthers move the goal posts, use ad-hominem and even utilize magical thinking to support their world view made me realize that a lot of apologists, or even supporters of Mormonism are no different than these flat-earthers. I recognize that I'm have a bias against Mormon truth claims and it's apologists. What are parallels you can think of comparing Mormonism vs the flat earth movement?

Until she gets nerved, what can I do? Does defuff reducer work on barrel knockup?
Anything at all I can do against ger ult? (Does etherial shift/debuff remover work against it?)
Any notable items that stop her 3 from blasting through my health in 2 seconds in the early and midgame?
Any tech that works against being barrel-juggled to death?
How am I supposed to play around her bounce pad tactically (besides avoiding the stun)? Mx problem here is that aim is a weakpoint of mine and she might as well have metal skin while she's hopping around.
