I work in a restaurant. Management said if we don’t bring our own cups, we have to pay for a cup to drink anything. Would it be legal to put drinking water for employees behind the cost of a cup? General intuition and OSHA regulations make me want to say no. But I’m not a lawyer or an expert. NC, USA if that matters.

I am in my first year of an electrical engineering program, and I know it might be too early to specialize now, but I am heavily eyeing power systems, since I know that EE specifically is one of the few programs actually eligible for most of those jobs. What kind of projects can i do over my summer months to strengthen my resume, and also to actually gain some valuable knowledge and hands on experience? 2025.01.24 00:31 WonderfulSorbet215 When can I start eating normal foods during the whole bone graft healing process?
I just had a tooth on my upper left jaw extracted due to a large cavity and the dentist performed a bone graft. I know that it takes 3-6 months from there to get an implant and then another couple of months before the crown and the finalization of the whole process. In these 3-6 months or “waiting/healing” period between my bone graft and implant, can I eat normally? I just don’t know if having a soft diet for 6 months (or only eating on one side of the mouth!) is feasible but I am unsure if I will be able to resume a normal diet with just a bone graft. Any advice is great! I am not a smoker but would like to resume drinking socially between this waiting period. No health conditions that pertain to this question to report.

Today, Taylor confirmed that the FBI used the MyHeritage database in the IGG process, which is a violation of the MyHeritage terms and conditions.

The use of the MyHeritage database has been contested by defense attorneys in at least one criminal case before, and the Minnesota trial judge rejected that argument. Of course, we have yet to see what the court will decide here.

So I have a habit of chewing my lips so I’m used to canker sores. I chewed a lot of my left side without noticing and I have a pretty good size canker sore on my left front side. But I discovered this moveable lump just below my jaw. I think it’s a swollen lymph node but should I be concerned. I’ll circle on a photo both where the site is and the swollen lymph node.

hello from your average arborist. in September of last year, i was crushed at a work site while operating a mini skid loader. i suffered 6 fractures in my pelvis and some minor lacerations on my legs. i was admitted into the hospital as a level 2 trauma, and received orthopedic surgery with screws and rods the next morning. fast forward to now, im done with physical therapy and after my first evaluation the WC doctors believe i should do vocational rehab. i still deal with pain and discomfort on a daily basis and the incident causes me trouble on a consistent basis. said incident even forces me to walk differently because of the discomfort it causes me. what should i expect when it comes time to settle for PPD? whats the minimum amount i should settle for?

Hey folks, I'm brand new to PC and PC building so I really don't know anything.
Currently I have a pre-built, it has a Ryzen 7 5700 and a 4060 but I just bought a 6800xt to replace it. However I keep hearing that the 5700 cpu is horrible? Will it hold back my GPU? Any idea what to upgrade to? How do I upgrade CPU? Is it just plug and play? Anything would help.
(I plan on running 1080p ultra on everything and play mostly older games, the most newer games I play would be Hogwarts, Elden ring, Helldivers and rivals. I play mostly older games like Bethesda titles and plan on trying valve titles like left for dead, as well as older souls games.)
