last year i was a freshmen and a lot of things have happened to me since then, it was a very bad period of my life and I never wanna relive it. i was getting excluded and made fun of for everything and towards the end of the year i got SA by someone who everyone adores and in turn no one believed me. I was being called stuff like a hoe even though I’ve never had my first kiss and since then I’ve developed horrible social skills. I’ve lost my will to live life and try on things, everytime I do something I never give it my all because I feel like I have nothing to live for. This year, I opened up to my parents and they changed my school and even though all the bullying has stopped I am still depressed. I opened up to my mom about how I was still depressed and had nothing to live for and she got mad at me because she was driving me to my new school and she expects me to suddenly not be depressed anymore. I am failing all my classes and I used to be one of the smartest people in school. I hate opening up to people and I don’t think it’ll get any better.

Looking at buying a 2004 tundra with 166k miles on it -- carfax and vin look up are clean
I can't see any proof of the timing belt being changed at 100k miles (concerning)

I spent a brief time living in the more rural parts of Vermont and Maine a few years ago. I liked how many trees there were everywhere, good summer weather, the ruralness (to a degree) but didn't like the urban/rural decay, declining/aging populations, rampant drug addiction, the super cold winters and while the houses were and are relatively cheap, it's because they're often over 100 years old and in desperate need of major repairs.
I now live in a western state that has a lot less forest coverage and part of me misses being in a place with so many trees; think log cabin on the edge of town/the city with a decent amount of trees and land. So, my wishes for my next potential move are as follows
- Lots of trees
- Affordable (2+ bed 2+ bath houses with a few acres of woodland for under $300K)
- Little to no population decline
- Some semblance of snowy winters but not brutally cold, and summers that aren't oppressively hot
- Being by lakes/rivers/creeks would be nice
- Low crime

I’m a new streamecontent creator and have plans to commission a decent vtubing model once I start making a bit of cash but for right now I just a picture my friend drew and a voice mod. The character is a robot so I found a robotic sounding voice mod to fit and I like it but recently I’ve had a few people pop into my chat and ask me if my mic was echoing and I had to explain that it was the mod. So now I’m worried that it’s too much and actually driving people away from sticking around. I also have a very loud keyboard that the mic picks up as well unfortunately so the combo might be too much. I’m not married to the mod so if it is to much I’m fine leaving it behind but I feel it does help with selling the robot character a bit better. Idk should I trash it or keep it

2025.01.24 01:53 Top-Island5742 I cheated on my ex and did everything to make things right only to find out my ex cheated long beforehand
After an argument with my ex following her not trusting me around my female friends, I got bitter and decided to lead on a girl that I met on the internet. I regret it so much both to the person I led on and to my ex. After doing everything I could to help the situation and own up to my mistakes. My ex reveals to me that she cheated on me before. I loved her and I wanted to fix everything to hopefully put things back to the way they were but now I’m not so sure if I want to do that. We’re on equal ground now with no one having a moral high ground. As cruel as it is to say I have lost most of my remorse and regret and have begun to see it as my ex getting what she deserves. This way of thinking is wrong but I feel so hurt, especially since it didn’t come out until now. I don’t know what to do. I’m not sure if I love her still.

I’m a manger at a car wash and our trench was full of sludge, it clearly hasn’t been maintained in years, we scooped it out and pressure washed it but all this slick black crap remains , any tips on how to remove all of this, I was thinking of Ecolab degreaser but i feel like its way past the point of that even working, any tips on how to get this removed? I've been a fan of Banshee for a bit now, around when they started introducing Archon Shards; Her damage scaling with Sonar gets incredibly silly, and Silence is a wonderful CC ability (One of the best, honestly).
.. and sonar *can* be good with the Augment, but it's not... Super great. The ragdolling can be a pretty decent hard CC by taking heavy units out of the equation, but that's just the base ability. Augment is really the only thing worth using on it/what people want to use (myself included.) --And woof, Soundquake is just bad. I even tried boosting up it's damage with stuff like Sentient Wrath's damage vulnerability, Viral status, etc... And nothing made it worth using. The Augment was in an even worse spot, since it's a quick burst of really mediocre damage. Used to be good, isn't anymore... Which is a shame.
So I had some ideas to theoretically pitch to either DE or just the subreddit (since I don't really know how likely it is for a DE Employee to pass along an idea like this), mainly just for giggles.
Passive: Stays as is for the most part, since it silences EVERYTHING from explosive weapons, gunblades, Archguns, and even Sentinel weapons (which don't even have an exilus slot!); It also doesn't step on the utility of Silence, since the ability decreases/turns off the enemy's ability to react to damage. Mainly don't wanna change it because I have no other ideas lol
Sonic Boom:
- Roll the Augment into the base kit.
- Change the damage type to 100 Blast, with a guaranteed 5 procs with an increased status duration.
- While this may not be a massive change, killing a target affected by these Blast procs could create a chain reaction if you were to kill multiple targets
- Change the augment to Overguard leeching/striping, depending on the amount of Sonar pings on an enemy
- 5% strip for each ping, capping off at 30%
- 25 Overguard per ping (scaling with strength)
- An additional two options for either augment or base ability that I can think of:
- Knock back enemies and give them the Stunned status (like Silence) for 4 seconds (scaling with Duration).
- When an enemy gets back up from the ragdoll, they can get affected by the Silence Stun proc again ( this is if DE would want to maintain the silly ragdoll, while still making the ability have synergy).
- Let Sentinels aim for specific parts of the body, prioritizing parts with more Sonar pings.
- that's it that's the addition
- Recastable.
- I can't really think of much. This ability is stupidly potent lmao
Oh boy, I'm honestly excited for this list as a theoretical change.
- Increase the base cost to 75 energy, with the drain staying the same. This will make sense with the changes upcoming
- Keep the damage as Blast, with a guaranteed proc every pulse of the ability
- This damage would scale up on a multiplier, starting at .5x increase per second and scaling with strength.
- Probably too much with the upcoming change, but... Eh. I feel like it needs to justify staying in the ability
- Blast procs from this would also have an increased status duration, specifically to slowly stack up the Procs over time
- This damage would scale up on a multiplier, starting at .5x increase per second and scaling with strength.
- Each pulse of the ability applies 5% damage vulnerability, stacking up with continuous casts, and lingering for 7 seconds (scaling with Duration)
- Of course, the downside to this would be the upkeep. Since it's a drain, the only way to upkeep would be orb pickups-- And either focusing your build on Efficiency/Duration
- Still probably pretty powerful, but it gives you a reason to stay in one spot.
- Resonating Quake Augments Changes
- Keeps the Multiplier for it's damage, but make it properly work as a multiplier and not just added onto the base damage.
- And if you really want to get freaky, make that multiplier scale with Strength. Definitely a bad idea :)
- Instead of being a single pulse, turn it into a set-and-forget ability with a 10 second duration (scaling with Duration)
- Maximum of 3 pulses at a time
- Damage Vulnerability per tick goes up to 10%, while the lingering debuff lasts for 12 seconds (scaling both now with Strength and Duration)
- Keeps the Multiplier for it's damage, but make it properly work as a multiplier and not just added onto the base damage.
