2025.01.24 01:29 wizardzofodd DAE find contemporary open floor houses overwhelming and annoying to keep clean?
They look better clean, but they need to be kept clean at a more inconvenient rate.
1.) The sharp sleek edges and the use of mainly cool tone neutrals gives the house a very clean look, but its hard to decorate it without it looking too busy
2.) speaking of sleek colors, they seem to favor using a lot of shiny reflective surfaces lot of the surfaces that need to be kept 100% clean to look good, otherwise you will be able to see fingerprints/smudges/grease stains from a mile away
3.) the open floor plan means the kitchen needs to be clean for the main floor to be relaxing.
4.) this kind of piggybacks off point 1, but contemporary kitchen look best when they have nothing out. If you think about a style that was popular a couple decades ago like the tuscan kitchen, you could literally have jars, and little knick knacks out on your counter and it looks fine! But God forbid you have 2 appliances out at a time in contemporary style kitchen without feeling like the whole place is cluttered and messy 🥴
Give me a 2000s style home with brown cabinets, white fridge and laminate counters anyday!

Bodd i en leilighet i ca 1.5 år nå, når vinteren kommer er det for kaldt til å bo her uten å kjøre 3 oljeovner på full guffe hele døgnet som resulterer i skyhøye strømregninger. Har klaget på problemet uten resultat(dør i stue som ikke er tett og det kommer vind rett inn i sprekker rundt døren) Det har hvert enormt mange problemer med leiligheten som utleier enten bruker mange måneder på å fikse eller ikke fikser i det hele tatt. Fikk også en mail med ugyldig grunn om utkastelse pga han ikke ville fikse kjøleskapet som var defekt, noe jeg protesterte på og endte opp med å kjøpe mitt eget kjøleskap. Har nå valgt å flytte til en annen leilighet og lurer nå på om det er en måte å komme unna di 3 oppsigelses månedene på grunn av kulden, noen som vet?

Hi! I’m exploring the idea of starting a mobile coffee business out of a VW ID Buzz (first plan was a CyberTruck, but I just cannot with that man) I know f**k all about electricity, but my understanding is that the battery can be used to run the appliances (espresso machine, grinder, fridge, ice maker). Has anyone done this? Any advice or warnings?
Separate to this, what are your thoughts on food trucks at park-and-rides? Seems like a no-brainer for coffee, but I’ve never seen them. I’ll be contacting my local Metro for details, just looking for others’ experience here.

I recently returned from a one-month trip and am now experiencing connectivity troubles with my wireless devices. My WiFi connection is no longer displayed on my work laptop or mobile device. I upgraded the router's firmware before leaving, so I'm positive it's the most recent version. Now, I want to check the settings on the Linksys app, but it can't find my router.  | i’ve been having some health issues for over a month now(my left leg is totally numb and hard to walk on), I went to the er for my leg and anxiety a week ago and saw my pcp two days ago. my primary mentioned I have a goiter on my neck and said to keep an eye on it and he wanted me back in a month. it has swelled up significantly since I saw him, and it’s giving me some pretty serious pain/ issues with swallowing/tightness in my neck along with some other stuff. is this worth another er visit? should I try to make an appt with my primary? my mom had cysts/a goiter before and she wants me to go to the er but we are both health anxious. i’m also awaiting an mri requested by my doctor but I don’t think my insurance approved it. any insight would help :) submitted by dogluvr98 to thyroidhealth [link] [comments] |
