I work for a CJDR dealer. Worst job ever and I hate it, trying to get out of it soon. Our managers stand behind you all the time and listen to every call we do all day. Dealership as a whole sells less than 15 cars total.
Anyways, they offer discounts to buy used vehicles at cost plus $500. Right now if you didn’t know Stellantis is pretty ass and struggling. Add the fact that they are overpriced shitcans. Because of this my GM is denying the discounts to employees and we have to pay posted price.
On top of that they gave a shit appraisal for my trade.
Long story short, I went to a different dealer and got a way better deal and bought a NEW vehicle. Not a Stellantis product. My manager is definitely the guy that will give me a hard time over this as he always looks where we park in the morning and will notice immediately.
Trying to figure out the best way to navigate this and sorry if this is a stupid question and scenario to ask advice over.

I have a senior in high school and she has a part time job. She's been working hard at both so I wanna take her to breakfast tomorrow for a surprise. We live in Lafayette and we are new to this area and this state.So we don't know the hole in the wall really good places and I don't want to just take her to some commercial place like IHOP. We never get a chance to do even little things like this. I've been carefully pinching pennies here and there so I can take her so please don't suggest any place that's two expensive lol I got about a $50 cap. Her favorite food is breakfast food and She gets excited to go to restaurants so I know she's going to love this. She's a mama's girl So I can't wait for the pictures and stuff she always wants to take of us. Love her.

Hey y'all. Been a Framework 16 user for a few months now and I like it a lot. I have seen several threads on here about issues with battery life. I was having a similar experience, and was/am in the process of rigorously diagnosing and fixing the problem with powertop etc.
But the reason I'm posting here is to offer an anecdote for comparison with others. Recently, I started running my laptop in "clamshell mode," that is, laptop closed, display off, and running only an external monitor and keyboard. The result has been a substantial increase in battery life, almost 2x. Formerly I was lucky to get the computer to last five and a half hours. Now, I can push it along for almost nine sometimes. Has anyone had this happen to them?
Anyway, I hope to report back with some real data at some point in the future.

I have been self-harming because I have had problems with anger management since I was 13. I am a person who gets angry at the smallest things. But the last few times I've been hurting myself a bit too much. I would normally hurt myself with anything after every anger problem, but when I'm calm enough to realize what I've done, I regret it so much. It doesn't really matter what it is, cutting / burning myself / starving, etc.
I am now 17 years old and I have started to get a lot of scar on my body and I want to stop it before it gets any worse. If anyone has any suggestions, please write. I'm ready to accept the help from anything atp, and I'm also ready to try anything to help me stay clean.

 | He's a 13 year old terrier who has never lived with other dogs and is spoilt beyond belief. The owners never bothered to train him. He barks, growls at my dogs (and regular), blocks my doors and then bolts outside if I try and leave my room where they are, doesn't listen, first day I dropped his leash in the kitchen and went to close the door and he bolted outside and down the street, refusing to come back or listen and only stopping when someone walking their dog saw what was happening and used their dog to stop him so I could grab him, in the mornings at pick up I have to pick him up and carry him inside because he tries to pull out of his collar to take off (keep in mind he's probably 10 kilos and I am walking three other dogs back to my house which is usually a few minute walk, I can't leave my 2 inside because he will attack them if he doesn't see them at pick up and comes straight inside). He's food agressive, attention agressive, and very jealous. My 2 are extremely well trained, and my regular is very well trained too. This dog is a nightmare to deal with and I don't want him in my house anymore. Problem is, he and my regular are a package deal right now, and my dog has cancer and will need a $3k surgery and I can't work a normal job so I can't really afford to be turning down 4 days a week of work.
