Peel Region passes massive police budget increase:After hours of heated discussion and debate over the police budget, Peel Region Council voted Thursday to pass the police force’s unprecedented 23.3 per cent budget request — amounting to a $144-million increase — in the face of calls for more transparency from constituents and councillors.
The 2025 spending plan calls for most of those funds to be put toward hiring an additional 300 police officers, five civilian staff and 10 communicators, which Peel police say they need to increase the “cop to pop” ratio — the number of officers to population of the rapidly growing region — for better front-line service.

2025.01.24 01:43 Shot_Software_4523 Nightreign or Shadow of the Erdtree: what will be more worthwhile getting?
Before I begin, I understand Nightreign isn't out yet and it's only recently been revealed, I'm merely asking now due to personal reasons.
I've played Elden Ring for quite a bit now and it's by far one of my favourite games I've ever played. Normally I take a while to decide to get a game (procrastinating, price etc) but Elden Ring was not like that and I knew I wanted it as soon as I first saw it. And now that there's the DLC and Nightreign I'm going through that same train of thought between which to get, so any input would be appreciated.
My reasoning behind SOTE is because it's a DLC (I can use the same character) and it'll reveal a bunch of new lore to a lore junkie like myself since I personally prefer to avoid any lore spoilers.
Then Nightreign just seems like a whole nother Elden Ring and I think going through the game for the first time again would be amazing.
So, which in your opinion would be more worthwhile getting/waiting for?

So I just had an idea for my first ever character design, project, and for the lore. I’d love to give my character a spellscar of sorts, unfortunately they’re a rouge.. like as a curse, but the dm I’ve been talking to said it wouldn’t work, I’m wondering if I could make an interesting character that has a similar spellscar effect, but it’s just painful (for lore) I could just give it a scar but I like the idea of giving a curse ontop of it? The whole blue flame thing? Give it some type of trauma onto the character before the game?
(I’d like some ideas of what should I do)

I’m guilty as charged for this too.
But legit who has actually lessened their binges or cured themselves completely from using this sub?
I normally come here when I feel this way of eating is kicking my ass and I want to relate to others.
I find it just justifies me to binge & wallow and condones that there is no hope and to continue going of the rails.
