 | TLDR: My instagram was hacked, that got disabled, my phone number, I assume was labeled as malicious and the security dragnet disabled my personal facebook account and business page that was tied to it. Long version: A little over a month ago I got a few texts from friends that my personal instagram was hacked. I attempted to use the recovery options on the site but the hacker added their own email to the account and then added a google authenticator for 2FA. I had 2FA enabled but it would send me a text to my personal phone number. It still will do this but when I enter my phone number, it will trigger a 2FA to the hackers google authenticator. (I think) I submitted a feedback report and obviously got nothing back. I wasnât sure what else to do because the on screen prompts didnât bring you to a contact form or a chat. It just brought you in circles. I assumed that instagram account that I had for 10+ years, must be cooked. A few days later I get an email from meta that my personal facebook page of 10+ years has been disabled. I figured it was a mistake and followed the on screen prompts, recorded a selfie, submitted a picture of my license, and the appeal was rejected. This is wildly frustrating because I have a business page linked with this account and lost both with this disable(ing). I still have access to a business instagram, saw an article that showed that I can talk to a real human by signing up for enhanced support. So I signed up via my business page and messaged them. I explained the situation and got told that they couldnât help me because THAT disabled account didnât have enhanced support. I said Iâd happily pay if I could regain access. I tried again to contact meta enhanced support and discovered that my phone number, when typed into the support feature, would turn the submit button grey. Or dark blue. It disabled the submit button for my complaint. I removed my phone number and it allowed me to go to the chat. Again, explain the situation, get told that theyâll call me that evening, the tech calls says he can see my personal facebook account and that the appeal is still under review, even though when I sign in it says my account is disabled and ineligible for another review. He reports that Iâll get an email with a final decision on my appeal within 24 hrs. We hang up. Almost 2 weeks later I reach back out to the enhanced chat and explain everything all over again. And get connected with someone who barely can construct complete sentences, who is asking the same questions that I have already answered, and is largely acting like if he acts like enough of an idiot, Iâll go away. I maintain diplomacy, and over the course of an hour go back and forth with this guy. Screen shots galore. Can you send me a link to your facebook account? No. Why not? Because itâs disabled. Can you send me the account ID number? No. I canât sign in to get it. Why? Because my account has been hacked. I resort to googling my name and facebook account to try to copy a link from google. Itâs not showing up in the search..because itâs disabled. I asked for my case to be escalated. Got told there is no escalation path..and then an automated message that the chat was over and the ticket closed. The virtual version of getting hung up on. Personal insta hacked, causing this automated AI system to flag my phone number and disable my personal facebook, which of course kills my business page with it. Iâm not sure what else I can do at this point. Is there anyone that has actually gotten anywhere in their experience with meta support? Logically it should be as simple as getting my phone number removed from the naughty list. I canât even get elevated to the point of a review of that. I canât create another page because my number will get flagged again and the account will get disabled. I truly think the right security or operations person at meta would at least be interested that this AI or automated dragnet is killing policy abiding users in droves. Donât they want to fix these issues? How long can you run a company where AI is deleting chunks of your user base every day? How long can you charge users for enhanced support that can only get on the phone in the evenings in the US because theyâre on the other side of the world? Or better yet, where the enhanced support replies are in broken English, with misspellings? It was like texting my 8 year old daughter for support. As much as this pisses me off, Iâm actually kind of intrigued by this massive failure of support at scale and imagine itâll be a decent case study for future social media companies. I mean look at the amount of people that are on insta or facebook bitching about this same thing? Iâve parsed out the mechanics for why my accounts are getting torched. True healing comes from recognizing that your emotions were a response to mistreatment, not the cause of the relationshipâs downfall. No one should be shamed for expressing pain when theyâve been hurt.

Let me explain: When I first discovered the saved loadouts last season, I made all of my favorite skins into loadouts, but for whatever reason, when I tried to randomize them, tI was put into the match on whatever loadout I was one with the randomizer. Today, I figured that the set names for the cosmetics, emotes, wraps, and banners have to match for it to work, so I go through every single loadouts and make the sets match each other, but that didnât work. What am I doing wrong?

I think I would have Tapered a lot more before jumping to subs. Back in December 7oh just want' working that great so I was working out tapering. Mixing in a little MIT and extracts. I was kinda getting pissed that not matter what I did I couldn't make it work. ...So I was tapering. I was off the 1st week in January and just said fuck it. Instead of tapering I had a bunch of powder lets go out with a bang so instead of the 40 - 60 mg, I tried like 110 - 120mg. Well that worked. Then that week turned into craziness. I really screwed myself up. It was going to be hard to taper again. Funny thing is even at lower dose things started working Then out of nowhere I got a chance at some subs second hand. Well I decided to just go. I even then had several grams of powder and just mixed them up and used them out till I got the subs. Then is was like go time. Being on day 4 I"m doing much better but the anxiety is almost debilitating. I just don't think my head was quite ready. And the cold is killer. With Kratom I did a fast taper for a month. Fast tapers don't really work that great...... but it really got my head ready. ......and my wife's. I'm done with the acutes but I can't get my head on. This anxiety is getting better but man to think what ahead is scary as hell. Just typing this I thought would help but here comes the anxiety.

Itâs as if a weight heâs carried for years has finally been lifted, and the spark in his eyes, a light I didnât even realize had dimmed, now shines brighter than ever.
Since that moment, Iâve seen a newfound confidence in him that is absolutely magnetic. The way he carries himself now is incredibly attractive, and if youâre wondering whether this journey has affected our intimacy, I can tell you without hesitation that it has, but only in the best ways.
Iâve always considered myself an accepting person, someone who embraces others for who they are, even when I didnât fully understand their experiences. Iâve been a vocal advocate for the LGBTQ community, challenging ignorance and standing firmly as an ally. But if Iâm truly honest with myself, I sometimes wonder how I would have reacted to this kind of revelation eight years ago.
I like to believe I would have responded with the same love and acceptance I show now, but the truth is, itâs hard to say for certain. Supporting others from a distance is one thing, but when it directly impacts your own life, it forces you to confront biases you didnât even know you had. The fact that I even question this bothers me because it shouldnât matter. Everyone deserves to live authentically, without fear or judgment. But society teaches us so many harmful, limiting ideas, and unlearning them takes time.
Looking back, I wish this conversation had happened years ago so my husband wouldnât have had to carry this alone for so long. He deserved to live free of that secret, free of the fear and self-doubt. The thought of him enduring that silence breaks my heart.
Throughout this journey, Iâve asked countless questions. Not out of doubt, but out of a genuine desire to understand and support him in the best way possible. I hadnât realized how many unique challenges bisexual men face, especially those who are in long-term, heterosexual-presenting relationships with children. Society often enforces a rigid and narrow definition of masculinity, one that discourages men from embracing their full selves.
Itâs heartbreaking to think of how many people suppress who they are for the sake of fitting into a mold that was never meant for them. No one should have to hide pieces of themselves to feel accepted. Everyone deserves to live their truth openly, unapologetically, and without shame.
When I think about intimacy, I donât view it solely in terms of sexuality. Intimacy, to me, is about connection. Whether through deep conversations, thoughtful gestures, or physical closeness. I donât understand why these topics are often considered taboo. We are all human, with desires and needs, and those desires donât change who we are as people, as partners, or as parents.
Truthfully, this revelation has deepened our connection in ways I never expected. Our sex life, which was already fulfilling, has evolved into something even more meaningful. Exploring new things together, navigating this journey side by side, has brought us closer. Itâs been an experience of trust, vulnerability, and discovery, and in my opinion, it has strengthened our bond in ways I didnât know were possible.
What saddens me most is knowing that my husband once feared I might not look at him the same way if he opened up to me completely. And in a way, he was right. I donât see him the same. But not in the way he feared. I see him with even more love, admiration, and respect. Watching him stand in his truth and embrace who he is has only made me prouder of the man I married.
If Iâve learned anything from this experience, itâs that love isnât about fitting into expectations. Itâs about showing up for each other, fully and authentically, no matter what.

I recently had an interview for a MITACS internship, and Iâm feeling a bit confused about how it went. The professor I interviewed with seemed pretty uninterested during most of the conversationâshort answers, minimal engagement, etc. However, one thing that caught my attention was the way they phrased certain things.
In a lot of interviews, Iâve noticed people tend to use the word "if" when talking about the outcome (e.g., "If you join our team, you could work on..."). But in this interview, the professor kept saying "when" instead of "if" (e.g., "When you join the team, youâll be working on...").
Is this a sign that theyâve already decided to accept me? Or is it just how some professors phrase things? It felt a little inconsistent with their lack of enthusiasm. Has anyone else had a similar experience with MITACS interviews or professors in general? Would love to hear your thoughts or advice!
