Hi! Iām a fairly new zookeeper (6 months strong) and Iām pretty inexperienced otherwise!
Iām having a really hard time keeping my feelings out of things- I get really attached to some of the critters and when they get sick or Their behavior changes immensely I really panicā¦
I got in trouble today because I pushed for one of my critters to get an exam (she hasnāt eaten in 6 days and was showing signs of mouth pain!) this critter is really old for her species and I was really expecting the worstā¦ we didnāt find anything wrong- which is amazing! But I cost us a lot of money and I feel like I jumped the gunā¦ To make matters worse it took extra long for the critter to wake up following sedation and I kind of panicked againā¦ the curator told me I need to be careful Iām not projecting onto the critterā¦ animal ended up waking up fine.
How do I not be this way?! I love this career - but this week has been so impossibly hardā¦ this specific critter is definitely the one Iām closest with. (Although I care about all the children equally of course!) So that didnāt helpā¦ I really want to not only succeed but be amazing in this field- but this hurtle has been so hard. Any advice would be so appreciated! I try so hard to not put human emotions into critter as I know itās not professional. I canāt seem to help it though- even when I try to separate myself emotionally as soon as someoneās off I lose my brain.

My wife is taking the kids to Lego Land for the only days off that she can get, Valentineās Day weekend. I canāt go. I just started a new weekend shift at work and I canāt afford to take a weekends off so early after the shift change.
Iāll be all alone for Valentineās Day. Itāll be the first Valentineās Day alone in 27 years. Rather than sitting at home all alone, I mentioned to my wife that I think that Iāll go out to a strip club on Valentineās Day. She fully supports it.
So can anyone suggest a great strip club in S.F. I want a club where the women get fully nude. I want a club with beautiful women. I donāt want a sexual favors or anything like that. Iām married and faithful. I just want to see beautiful women dance.

Struggling to be able to track inventory at the variant levelāfor example:
ā Can track Main Items inventory no problem
ā One Main Item may have a dropdown to include "Accessory 1" and "Accessory 2"
ā Some customers may choose to buy "Accessory 1" and not "Accessory 2"
ā The combo is then recorded as a sale, and "Accessory 1" and "Accessory 2"'s level of inventory doesnt change.
My problem is that I want to be able to see "Accessory 1" and "Accessory 2"'s level of inventory separately. I'd like to be able to see how many "Accessory 1" units I have left, how many I've sold, etc.
Is this possible? What app do I need?

Hi
I kist received my Mx Keys S yesterday and so far it's working great except for one thing
The F1/2/3 keys aren't properly registering it seems, sometimes I have to press them multiple time for it to work, like Alt F4, it can work fine the first time but if I repress it sometimes it doesn't work, it's very inconsistent
Anyone having the same problem? I tried connecting the keyboard with Bluetooth on my phone and the same problem occurs so I don't think it's a problem on my end. Also tried changing the usb port but no luck (besides a massive input lag when plugged in my motherboard where everything is also connected)
I had a normal mx key (which broke) a year or so ago and I don't remember it being like that...
Wondering if I maybe have to send it back and settle with another quiet keyboard...

Hey all, I have committed to doing a lot more activism this year, and am attending my first outreach event this weekend. There will be a lot of foot traffic given the occasion, but I have never done outreach before. I think there will be around a dozen other vegans in attendance, maybe 1 or 2 who I've met briefly before.
I have no issue talking to random people, but have never done it for animal advocacy. What is the best way to engage other people? What are the common objections you get in real life? When is it time to end a conversation, and what kind of note do you end it on? Are people generally combative/rude? Any other tips/insights on what to expect?
