2025.01.24 06:42 McXcelsior Container DNS issues (Unraid 7)
I posted this on the Unraid forums, but figured I would post here as well.
It seems that my docker containers aren't able to resolve DNS unless I add --dns 8.8.8.8 as an extra parameter to the containers. I even had to add that to immich for it to properly start and connect to its internal redis.
The only changes made are a successful upgrade to version 7 and adding tailscale SSL as the certificate to access the server. I haven't changed anything else anywhere.
I do have Next DNS setup on my UDM Pro as I've had for quite some time without issue. DNS servers on the main network connection is 10.10.20.1(UDM Pro), 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4.
Any ideas what could be causing this?

Okay so basically I played classic a long time ago but then I moved to play wild in like, 2015 or 16 or something right, THEN after playing for a while I took a break that took longer then I thought it would because of lack of interest. The break was from about 2018 or 2019-2023 so I missed a LOT! I joined back in like, mid-late 2023 and started playing more often and by mid 2024 I was back into it and love it, the only problem is.. I am not very high worth and I’m so confused by AJ “slang” and worth. LIKE WHAT DOES “worth 8-9 party forest” MEAN!? (That was a joke I know basic slang) but tbh I just have a lot of trouble knowing worth, especially when it comes to high demand items! Plus I don’t really know how to get the good items.. is it games or literally just trading!? Idk, can anyone lmk if there are websites or something for worth on items, pets, all that stuff? I need help bad😭🙏

2025.01.24 06:42 Time-Maximum6519 Math 1250 Alternative
Not sure if this is the right subreddit to ask this question but not sure where else to put it. Basically, I transferred here from SMC (Santa Monica college) last semester, at SMC I took math 28 (Business Calc 1) but when I got here I was told that only counts for half the math requirement (I would’ve had to take math 29 which is business calc 2 at smc) and I will now have to take Math 1250.
I’m wondering if there are any online college options that anyone could recommend to fulfill this requirement rather than having to essentially retake business calculus.
Full transparency I am looking for easy as possible credits, I am not great at math and have 0 interest in it due to its lack of relevancy in anything I will likely do in my career or even in the rest of college.

I’ve gotten exposed to a fair amount of ableism in my community recently and it’s really taken a toll on my well being. It makes me sad that people can be like that and sort of discriminate or make fun of me just because of the way my body works. I tried calling an instance out recently and someone told me to calm down… It really makes me sad. How do I deal with that? My community prides itself on being progressive and accepting… I feel like you really can’t escape the ableism. It makes me actually kind of depressed. What to do?

I have played Jedi Survivor for about 17hrs and I have had several issues along the way. Horrible performance and stuttering and crashes. However, I have managed to find ways to get pass or solved entirely and was able to enjoy the game and now my newest issue is being unable to launch the game at all. I had a terrible crash where I had to shut off my computer and when re-launching it I was prompted to restart it. Now the game won't launch, it will try and end up in a loop opening the EA app, closing it, maybe get to the menu and then close and it then restarts the cycle. I have tried everything I could find, so please if anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated.

I'm sick of having to explain that tariffs don't mean we "place a tax on another country's exports that they have to pay for"
It fucking means we have to pay for it. Good luck getting those grocery prices down while Trump throws a 25% tariff on our allies come February.
The political and economic illiteracy in this country is mind boggling.
Fun fact for you guys that support this orange felon. He tried this already and it ended poorly.
His 10% tariff caused
600,000 jobs to be lost
27 billion lost in revenue
28 billion in relief funding sent to farmers to keep them from losing their farms.
Now he wants to do that... With 25% tariffs on our biggest trading partners and they are already planning counter economic measures.
Not sure how in the hell you fell for "drill baby drill" and grocery prices lowering from a literal con man who's also saying tariffs to a cheering crowd. Like you guys cheered to needlessly spend more money after he already tried this and it failed... Horribly... You guys really are stupid.

Finally finished the build of my first ever Gunpla build.
I picked this up after enjoying watching Requiem for Vengeance (first viewing of Gundam anime); and am super impressed with the design that allows the whole thing to be put together without glue.
Next, is panel lining and decals. But this will have to wait for another day.
