Vou iniciar o nono ano daqui 2 semanas e desde uns meses coloquei na cabeça de estudar pro vestibular do ITA. COMO SABER SE JÁ TENHO UMA BASE, SE NÃO COMO INICIAR UMA *Matemática *Física *Química
Disposta pra materiais e vídeo aulas mas sem grana pra cursinho caro. Tenho grande conexão com alitaunos, arrumar os PDF's não vai ser tão complicado.
Iniciei o FME 1 mas sinto que ainda falta algo, física iniciei com o BOARO e química com o QUÍMICA DO MONSTRO. Sobre os horários de estudos, vou iniciar um curso de ensino médio, o NES, que vai ter na grade curricular algumas coisinhas em comum com o edital do ITA, 3 vezes por semana com 3 horas de duração cada aula. Fora as atividades. Em média consigo bater 5 horas líquidas. Dependendo do dia dá pra ser 7 ou até mesmo só 5 mesmo.
Tenho experiência com matemática olímpica há uns 4 anos, já com química e física não tive tanto incentivo e venho tendo interesse nesses tempos. Ainda sim, sei mais sobre física do que sobre química. Sobre o vestibular em si não me preocupo tanto com a língua portuguesa, redação e língua inglesa. Creio que o esforço maior deve ser depositado em matemática, física e química para tal prova. Mesmo assim não esqueço e estudo com frequência há uns anos a área de linguagens.

2025.01.24 03:30 v-lavender I think my booster caused my Graves' disease and now I'm afraid to get boosted again
I'm posting this here because I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience or knows of any covid aware resources on this. I've never had covid as far as I know, I've worked from home throughout this whole thing and never stopped masking when the rest of the world stopped. I don't feel comfortable bringing this up with any of my doctors because none of them are covid cautious/aware and only a few of them put on a mask specifically for me when I go in.
When vaccines were first released, I had Pfizer shots in March and April of 2021 with no significant reactions. In May of 2022 I got my Pfizer covid booster and flu shot at the same time. When that booster came out I had heard folks talk about how they had a much more difficult recovery from the new booster. Some were talking about how when they got their booster and then rested, they were sick for a week, and others were talking about doing a bit of exercise after getting their booster and getting over their symptoms within a day.
In hindsight, exercise was obviously a bad idea since we know that exercise is not good for long covid, but I didn't have this information at the time and I had work to do that week, so I decided to just take my dog on a little walk after I got home. Nothing major, but after that I was SO sick. I was vomiting, cold sweating, painful all over, and didn't do much other than sleep and visit the bathroom for 2 days. After that, I thought I had recovered and went on with my life. In October of 2022 I got another Pfizer booster and rested, didn't have any significant side effects that time but I did have scalp issues start up around that time (that is currently still diagnosed, waiting to see a dermatologist).
In 2023 I moved to a hot climate and after the move my syncope/POTS symptoms were absolutely out of control, way worse than my usual baseline or even my "flare" periods. I blamed it on the heat at the time, but I now realize that my symptoms had been slowly getting worse since around May 2022. Finally in 2024 I got health insurance and was diagnosed with Graves' and Thyroid Eye Disease.
Once I got on meds for Graves', my POTS symptoms went back to my baseline. In November my endocrinologist had me wean off my meds for a period of time, but my thyroid hormones shot back up again so I'm back on meds for now and keeping my fingers crossed I'll be able to wean off them eventually without having to kill or remove my thyroid. I'm still waiting to see an ophthalmologist who can help with my eyes.
So now, I have an autoimmune condition, take meds that further suppress my immune system to deal with it, and I'm worried about making things worse for myself if I get another booster.
TLDR: I got a covid booster in May 2022 and had horrible side effects afterwards. Now I have Graves' disease and I'm worried the booster triggered it. Has anyone here had a similar experience? Anyone have resources or info on this being a thing? Do yall think this is purely a coincidence? Please be nice, I'm far from an anti-vaxxer D:
