My husband has had chronic back pain a good portion of his life and recently slipped a disk in his (lumbar) back shoveling. A couple weeks later after driving to work he stepped out of his car and passed out from the pain, which led to his back hurting even more from the fall. He sees a chiropractor that does adjustments but it just seemed like it wasn’t getting better. Last week, his left leg and foot went completely numb (could still walk) with pins and needles feeling. He got an MRI after feeling that way for about 4 days, and the report came back showing a big herniated disc causing cauda equina compression. The report said to get a surgical consult. However, we did not get this report until a couple days later and the past few days he has been feeling better and regained completely normal senses in his leg/foot and back just feels “uncomfortable” not like the constant pain he was in before. We are waiting to hear back about a referral to a neurologist for an appointment, but I’m just not extremely well versed in how cauda equina can manifest. Obviously if he was getting more pain or still had numbness we’d take him to the ER, but now he’s feeling better so I’m thinking the herniated disk may not be compressing the nerves anymore? Would this still be considered a medical emergency? I’m just not sure if he can feel better and then one day it all flips on him or if we could wait it out for an appointment with neurology

The next full time center on these rankings is Isaiah Stewart at 11th (even though he’s listed at center JJJ is really more of a power forward). Cade is 12th on this list but he’s shown that he can play pretty well with early fouls. How much do you think early fouls are actually affecting the team’s performance? Out of the teams around the .500 mark, I think that the Pistons have some of the best center depth with Duren, Stew and Paul Reed. Usually, this means that the Pistons can withstand early fouls on our bigs as our worse case scenario is Paul Reed minutes. Still, consistently subbing out Duren early because of fouls can’t be good.

I have an adult female named Marie!
- 120 gallons (or a bit larger)
- Heating lamp
- UVB stick (T5)
- Enclosure itself has rocks (rough and smooth) large pieces of driftwood, a hammock, hides, and is overall OK in my opinion
- Eats mainly superworms but I always feed dubia roaches when possible (will elaborate on this later)
- I live in a place with a high average humidity. 60-70% per day. I keep a dehumidifier next to her tank but my main concern is her water. I do not keep a water dish in her tank, instead I give her baths once a week or once every two weeks, and mist her veggies. My question is, should I risk putting a large water dish in her enclosure? (Large enough for her to sit in)
- Handling. She seems fine with it, never bitten or even gotten overly defensive. Sometimes I feel like she even likes being out with me. But when I do handle her I stay in the room without air-conditioning because I’m afraid to get her too cold. But because of this, I only rarely take her out. My question is, would it be okay to take her into an air-conditioned room for a few hours (2-3)? The temperature would be around 22-24 C.
Her veggies are another story. There was a time where I thought she was getting a bit too big, so I would feed her once a week. She seems much healthier now, but now she won’t eat her veggies (voluntarily).
And by voluntarily I mean if I put veggies in her dish she won’t come down from her basking spot to eat. I’m wondering if this is a problem because when we first got her we would tong feed her?
I’m open to constructive criticism so please share your thoughts and advice. I just want her to be healthy.

So you to give some context, my friends and I are going to be playing a game that involves teams of 5. My close friend group has 6 people in it, and we didn’t have time to discuss what we were going to do. There is this one guy in our friend group who we’ll call Steve, and he is my best friend. I always have his back, and I thought he always had mine. The past week, 3 of the friends were out on vacation and we didn’t have time to talk. They got back yesterday, and we finally talked about the game today. I have been looking forward to playing this game for years with these people and I was so excited. However, when I talked to 2 of my friends, they told me that I was the person getting kicked out of the team. No discussion. I was really hurt. I will admit that my reaction to this was a little over the top, I started legit crashing out. I found out that Steve voted for someone other than me, and I thought me and him would vote to stay with each other in the group. I freaked out and I went home, and I cried. I’ve talked to Steve about this, but he didn’t give me a good reason besides that he thought it would be better if the group was just boys (I am a girl), and he said “I thought you would want to be with (girls name)” I don’t talk to that girl. Honestly I feel betrayed and hurt. I now feel like my friends would always vote me to leave the group before any one else. Also to add, my group of 6 used to be a group of 4, Me, Steve, and two others, so I thought that we would always be the core group, which I guess todays prove that it doesn’t matter. Now, I don’t even know if I want to play the game, because I really only wanted to do it with them. It just sucks because I have been so excited to play this game for so long. So tell me, am I overreacting? I seriously don’t know, I’ve always struggled in relationships (bpd) and I feel like my feelings aren’t valid, and I want to know if I need to work on stuff.

I recently went to my NP for migraines, night sweats, cold intolerance, feeling like something was stuck way up in my nose etc. I was thinking I was going through very early menopause but after she asked me some more questions she said we should do an MRI. So now of course I’m worried but the soonest appointment that was open was 4 weeks out. Is this normal or does this mean that the concern for anything actually wrong is low?

I have a brand new tic where I keep running my tongue across the roof of my mouth on a specific spot. This has been going on for a week or two and has resulted in a sore that will not stop bleeding due to the continuous tic. This is driving me insane, it's not an unbearable amount of pain but it's enough to be noticeable at all times, paired with the taste of blood I'm just fed up. I want it to stop :c
