After not owning a bike for 12-15 years I’ve just got myself a road bike. I used to ride mtb socially but this is the first road bike I’ve ever owned and for the life of me I don’t recall what I should have onboard.
For context I’ll be riding 30-50km per week, at least for the foreseeable future while training for a beginner triathlon…
Curious to know what people consider essential or must have on their bike in case of breakdown etc. Is it as basic as a puncture kit, pump and multi tool?

2025.01.24 08:47 investoroma Weird question but how do you move on from focusing on your transgender identity to focus on the rest of your life?
A few weeks ago I firmly accepted that I am a trans person. Before that I had called myself nonbinary but used it loosely and never really did anything about it. Finally though I've decided to at least in part social transition and keep trying things out as I move toward possibly eventually doing hormones. This is what I personally mean by embracing the trans label.
However I'm finding myself scouring the internet for more and more info about trans experiences and tips, and other useful info and I feel like it's distracting me from other parts of my life (work, creative projects I have going on, planning for travel etc.).
I'm curious if anyone has any advice about how to shift their focus from who they are from what they want to do? I want to take this a bit slower.
I'm realizing right now as I type this that this is the most ironic post ever haha

İlaca bünyemin alışması için 5 gün boyunca yarım doz almamı söyledi. İlacın etkisini 2 hafta içerisinde göstereceği ile ilgili bilgi de vermişti. Ben de sürecin daha etkili ve hızlı olması için 4 aydır ara verdiğim spora tekrardan başladım, sosyalleşmemi arttırdım, sabahları kendimi soğuğa maruz bıraktım, ufak tefek derin nefes egzersizleri yaptım ve 1 saat kadar da meditasyon yaptım. Sağlıklı beslenmekte önemli bir şey alışkanlığım zaten olduğu için problem yaşamadım bu konuda. Ayrıca bu süreç içerisinde kızın birinden iltifat aldım benle konuşmak istedi onunla tanışıp biraz sohbet ettim. Bu yaşadığım olumlu olay bana oldukça iyi geldi. Birde dün doğum günümdü 20 yaşına yeni girdim. Dün çok sevdiğim bazı yakınlarım beni aradı doğum günümü kutladılar. Bunlardan biri de çok sevdiğim kuzenimdi. Onla küçükken yaşadığımız geçmiş güzel anılarımız hakkında konuştuk. Uyku düzenim de yavaş yavaş düzelmeye başladı. Bugün ise oldukça rahatlamış hissediyorum yüzümde gülücükler açtı ve aniden göz yaşlarım sular seller gibi aktı. İçimdeki stres sanki vücudumdan atılıyormuş gibi oldu. Bu güzel gelişmeyi hem kendime hem de size moral olması için paylaşmak istedim hayatın aydınlık bir tarafı da olmalı öyle değil mi?

The text in question is:
نِعْمَتَانِ مَغْبُونٌ فِيهِمَا كَثِيرٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ
The translation says:
"There are two blessings that many people are ...."
Isn't this wrong? كثير is an adjective thats connected to مغبون isnt it? so shouldnt the translation be: "two blessings, in them is a big cheating for the people", meaning the people are being cheated in a big way by the illusion they have of these blessings.
Whereas the translation "There are two blessings that many people are... " implies that many people (but not all) are cheated.
But the correct translation (well, I think my translation is correct) is saying, all of the people are.

Hello Ive (29m) only been on a plane twice in my entire life (to florida and back). Some stuff hit the fan with my partner whom I live with now in Massachusetts- and I'm moving in with a family member in South Carolina. I am a realy really anxious person, and my family member got me a flight next thursday morning to go move in with them. (Its friday morning 3:37am rn).
I'm nervous because I am a musician. I have 2 electric guitars, a bass guitar, an acoustic guitar (all in hard cases) and 1 guitar amp 1 bass amp. On top of that I have a bunchhhh of clothes which I'll probably try and throw away a lot, a game console with 30 physical games. 2 huge boxes of cds ive been collecticing since I was a kid.
I'm thinking- since I dont have any care to play music live anymore and also, the place im moving has no music scene to begin with, I will probably try and sell my guitar amps this week.
But the other stuff. How do I bring that on the plane? 4 guitar cases and everything else? I'm panicking and getting to the point where I'm just going to stay here suffering instead so I dont have to stress about packing and how I'm going to get down there. I can not drive down there and have no family members to help me thanks. Explain to me like I’m a toddler on what to do. I have serious mental health problems and overwhelm myself instantly and end up giving up. I want to save my life and move out, I deserve to be healthy again but fear that I have too much belongings for travel
