2025.01.24 05:21 Liv_Daily28 Me (29F) and my close friend (27M) might be getting too close.
I will like to start by saying that my friend is a great person, we have been there for each other for the past couple of years. We’ve met through mutuals and have talked ever since. When we first started talking I was in a relationship. Relationship background: I was with this person (29M) 9 year on and off, we broke up a lot but in 2021 he asked for me back and we were together till the first week of 2025 (thats a whole crazy story on its own but we obviously didn’t work out). Anyways this friend has been helpful with letting me vent and saying everything that I guess I needed to hear. We text in very long messages and almost everyday if life doesn’t get too busy. He apologizes when he’s hours or a day late to texting me which I’ve mentioned how I don’t kind because we’re adults with busy lives. But there’s a part of me (tell me if I’m wrong I can take the criticism lol) that feels only people in relationships do that. Text everyday, feeling bad when you don’t message right away, sweet to you over other people. When venting about my ex he would tell me how he’s better in a way. For example: if I said “He was mean to me for no reason” his responses were “I don’t get it, i wouldn’t be mean to you”. (I know it’s small example but there just the scale of it). Maybe I was just treated wrong for so long that my friend being sweet feels as if he might have a crush on me? I don’t want to just assume and look stupid. I do care about him but I do not see him in that way. But even when we hang out, I can see in just the ways he looks at me how much he cares/ likes me. I’m just tired of losing friends that are men, finding out they were just waiting to date when they had the chance (it’s happened before but more obvious and sooner). Should I confront him? Bring up how I just see us as friends? Or just wait it out till he actually says something and then go from there?

I am a fairly athletic individual and always stayed active through sports or other forms of exercise. But I never tried calisthenics because my upper body strength is bad and I thought it was a major component of calisthenics. I wanna be able to do head stands/handstands/ pistol squats, splits etc. would I be able to train myself from scratch?
Do you have any recommendations on YouTube or something that I can follow? I’m not looking for online courses, I can’t afford even the cheapest ones atm. Thanks x

2025.01.24 05:21 CarbonLogic Need Guidance for CC Newbie
Hello everyone, before I begin just a little bit of my financial background. My annual income is a little under 4L. I am not a big spender, have an Account in a single bank (SBI) and till date have only used Debit Card. Whenever I heard about Credit Cards, in my mind it always said Debt Trap! So I never bothered to read up about CCs and how they work, that was until the recent Republic Day Sale on Amazon.
This time around, I took some time and went through the "Bank Offers" section under items that I wanted to purchase and came to realize that the Cashback offers and Instant discounts are not that significant but they all add up and become significant over a course of time.
Then I started to watch videos on how Credit cards work and the bill system and how you are supposed to pay off the bills.
So far I have understood the following:
- Use CC like Debit Card
- Dont purchase something you know you cant pay off quickly
- Pay the CC bill as soon as it is generated, donot wait until the due date
- Donot use the complete CC limit, keep it under 30%
In terms of expenses, Online I shop mostly on:
- Amazon
- Myntra
- Firstcry (recently became dad)
From reading various articles on this subreddit and watching a couple of videos I have understood that its good to have Life time free cards but when it comes to paid cards (with annual fees and joining fees) I should choose one carefully depending on needs. So I have come up with 3-4 cards that I might want to apply for:
- ICICI AmazonPay: This provides the 5% CB for almost all regular purchases. This would be very useful to me and is LTF and I understand that it does not work for instant discount offers. (Note: Suprinsgly I saw a phone Iqoo Z9 currently having an offer of 1500 instant discount PLUS 850 CB with the APay card, I think such offers are very rare where the Apay card provides CB + instant discount, do correct me if I am wrong.)
- ICICI Platinum Chip Card: This would be useful for the Instant discounts during sales as I know that the CB card would not work for instant discounts.
- SBI Cash Back card: This seems to be the holy grail of Cash back cards but the annual renewal fees is quite significant but still I think I can recover that fees and save some extra money.
- SBI Simplyclick card: This would serve similar function as ICICI platinum card for instant discount during sales that provide offers only on SBI Cards. Although I am not really sure about this one as it has a renewal fee as well and I would want to use this card only during sales. I have read that some owners got this card 'converted' to life time free? if that is possible to do at the end of a year of owning it then I might consider this card as well.
About fuel: theres a prison owned IOCL pump near my residence from where I get my vehicle refueled always. I have never had the need or was in a situtation where I have refueled from an other station. So keeping that in mind what card would you recommend. ( Some users mentoined that SBI BPCL octane card is very good, if thats the case then I have no issues with changing where i refuel from)
Note: I have absolutely no credit history so how difficult would it be to get the above mentioned or any credit card for that matter, thats another concern that I have had.

The owner says the car is tuned and deleted, however, she said it was done by the previous owner, so she doesn’t know what brand the delete is or who did the tune.
Is there a free way to check who tuned and what tune it is?
