I don’t even know where to start. It’s been 2 months since we broke up and all I can say is WOW. You were the one person in my life who I truly loved. I knew all the bad things about you and still loved who you were. I’ll never forget when we decided to get matching tattoos after a week of hanging out. We were young, stupid and having a good time. The problem is, 4 years later and you stayed the same. You went from being the love of my life, the man of my dreams, etc, to this monster. You started lusting over many girls, have a new girlfriend immediately, going out drinking all the time. You completely changed and now I lay in bed at night wondering who the fuck I was truly dating for so long.
You left me with nothing. Besides that you needed to put yourself first and you’re tired of everyone. I did everything I could to ensure you could become a better person. Although after EVERYTHING you have put me through, I truly LOVED you and I always will.
It feels like theres a space in my heart that is gone forever. Sometimes it can physically hurt. I deep down want you to get help and do whatever you have to do to better yourself. Because I will always love the guy that was in those special moments with me.
So I sit back and heal while you have a new girlfriend that you’re going to traumatize. You should know better than that. This whole thing hurts so bad. But I have to put on a happy face everyday because people think its absolutely pathetic what I’ve tolerated.
Moral of the story; I lost you truly to addiction. You cared more about smoking, hooking up with girls, drinking, partying. I wish you the best. XXXX

Currently playing a save as St. Pat's Athletic in Ireland, but this issue applies to every single team I manage. My team struggles to score, because they can't get a shot, or they shoot awfully. I like to play a 4-3-3 DP most of the time, with a target man or AF (most teams I manage don't have a striker with the skillset to play a more complete game), a CM on attack, and an inside forward + winger. Here's every issue I've indetified that causes my players not to score: 1. The striker doesn't get the ball, ever, and whenever he does, he's offside. 2. My players love to spam crosses even when told to work ball into box, they keep throwing high crosses for my strikeIF to head into the net, I have NEVER scored a goal like that. 3. Players explicitly asked to shoot less (DMs) try to bang it in and miss when a pass can be made. 4. Wingers can't dribble past or outrun opposition.
I've also noticed that in my games (I'm not sure if this is normal), there are a lot of corners and throw ins. My teams alone get an average of 10 or 11 corners because my shots, crosses, or dribbles keep getting blocked one way or another. My defenders also love to hoof the ball over my line even though they're not playing NCB. It would be awesome if my team could score corners, but they can't.
How can I fix these problems? I've tried every solution I've read — change roles, lower tempo, shorter passing, etc.

2025.01.24 05:10 Lapis_Wolf We've seen dragons in medieval fantasy and sometimes dragons being the catalyst for various features of a culture (like designs for armour and forts, or worshiping the dragons in a religion). What about when such societies reach modern levels?
What would a dragon aware society reaching a modern tech level look like? Maybe getting close to eradication of dragons? Maybe long into domestication? What if the dragons are sapient (humanoid or regular, large dragons)? What could a modern country rules by a dragon look like? Has this been done in your or other worlds? I don't mean modern worlds where dragons didn't exist before but suddenly now do. I mean societies where dragons were known for a long time before modern advancements. How would this extend to futuristic societies with dragons?
I've considered this for my world since I had recently reconsidered dragons of various types, but I wasn't sure how to go about it. My world mixes ancient societies with 20th century technology and I need to think longer about how the interactions would work. I did think of the idea of a large dragon ruling a country with a modern military, and even having military parades with military vehicles with the dragon watching over. This came after watching Pointy Hat's warden dragon idea video.
