hello!
i am 2 weeks into semester 1 and I was wondering if anyone had any knowledge about university level scholarships as a freshman starting in the spring? I know traditionally you have to apply by November 1 for these scholarships to be considered however I wonder if there is a similar policy for spring admits? I just am unsure.

We were unsuccessful in connecting the planter to the app so we used the Manuel set-up, which wasn't too bad as it forced us to really learn the machine. hello reddit! i just remembered a couple sets of stories so im getting those out , i have made other posts on my family that you can look at if you need context,
(i'm not the best at capitalization and punctuation and i'm typing this in basically the middle of the night so bare with me)
i am around middle school age and decently goth, like to the point my mother needed to lie about my school having a rule against wearing black everyday just so id wear color level goth, another thing about me is that i am a furry, not in the sex way but in the "i like animal costumes and the community and i feel safe here" way, i made more furry style art when i was younger as well, y'know, my cats a humans, wore cat ears, that type of kinda cringe stuff
my brother noticed this behavior before i did, i think hes around 6-7 years older then me so he did have a head start on knowing things. recently while talking with my grandma she had told me another story of my brother (she wasn't supportive of what he said either)
he had told my grandma (rough quote) that "I hope she is a furry because i hear that's a sex thing.."
he was never the best brother, he had done some gross stuff in the past but sense i had heard about that i've always felt kinda gross being near him when he comes to visit now,
so am i overreacting for wanting to not be around him and hug him and all that after i learnt he sexulized me??

$460 for a new 8" dobsonian seems like a throwback to a simpler time. I've been looking around for something to get back into it as my 25 year old Starmax 127 doesn't have a mount anymore and I thought it would be nice to get something with larger aperture. I ordered this one just now and am really hopeful that this is for real and a decent scope. Poking around the internet gave some promising results for the website and brand so I went for it. If anyone has experience with either and can share I'd appreciate it.
I mostly wanted to get the word out in case there were others in a similar situation. This seems like a great deal.

A few months ago, I went to dinner with my uncle. It was perfectly fine until to guys showed up. I was sitting opposite to a person on other table. After some time he started checking me out. I ignored it as much could. After some time, he started staring me into the eyes. Almost felt like he was staring into my soul. He stared me for more than 25-30 mins continuously. It made me uncomfortable to the core. I'm a guy, 6.1ft and have good strength. If it came to fighting I'd beat the shit of that guy but it never came to that, but he kept staring at me. I shrugged it off but his face and eyes are embossed in my mind completely. I have nightmares of that incident. It may feel that this is insignificant but I still get chills when I close my eyes. It felt like if I was someone form opposite gender he wouldn't think twice before doing something heinous. Although that place is 800km away from my hometown, but it feel helpless. It's on my mind. I feel like he exploited me just with his eyes. That stare was terrifying, I feel hopeless. Almost death stare. I feel helpless.
