Hi all,
Looking at moving from my absolute ripper of a hard tail chisel to a FS frame. Upgraded everything I can on it slowly over time to my exact preferences, so it’s literally ‘just’ the frame that I’d be looking to upgrade.
Does anyone have any advice on how to get a FS frame set for a non-extortionate price in the UK? Something along the standard bluepic/spur route but keen to avoid a £3k bill! Happy to also go secondhand but the market is pretty sparse there. Not happy with going for the open mould Chinese frames.

Dette indlæg er nok mest forbeholdt mødre.
Jeg er lidt i vildrede, og ved ikke hvor behjælpelige I kan være i forhold til min situation, men måske kan nogle gode råd være gavnlige alligevel.
Sagen er den at min mand og jeg prøver at få barn nummer to. Jeg tog i går en tidlig graviditetstest da der er fem dage til min menstruation, og gennem de seneste dage har jeg oplevet en ændring i min krop. Jeg er øm i min lænd og lysken, det er den samme ømme fornemmelse jeg havde gennem hele min første graviditet da jeg åbenbart har meget sarte ledbånd. Jeg har en murrende fornemmelse i underlivet og jeg er enormt træt. Jeg har som udgangspunkt aldrig rigtig menstruationssmerter, så hvis det skulle være det, er det også en smule usædvanligt.
Men testen var negativ. I morgen skal vi til en stor rund fødselsdag hos min mands familie, og jeg ved at de ønsker at det skal blive en våd aften. Jeg har det ambivalent med at indtage alkohol da jeg endnu ikke ved om testen er 100% gældende, men samtidig vil jeg også være ærgerlig over at holde mig tilbage, hvis jeg ikke er gravid. Vi er meget sjældent ude, og vi har for første gang i meget lang tid fået vores datter på overnatning hos mormor og morfar, og endda fået lovning på at vi kan få lov til at sove tømmermændene ud, hvis det skulle nå dertil.
Jeg ved ikke om det er ren indbildning men jeg har en følelse af at min krop fortæller mig at jeg er gravid, dog i et meget tidligt stadie. Har nogen haft samme følelse, og var den god nok? Hvordan ville I forholde jer til ovenstående situation, hvis I stod i den? Jeg tænker at jeg vil tage endnu en test i morgen, og hvis den også er negativ, bør jeg så opføre mig som "ikke gravid" selvom der stadigvæk kan være en chance for at den blive positiv om et par dage?

I just saw a post from a PhD student getting a 19k $ stipend in the USA and read many comments of people getting similar stipends. COL is generally quite high in the US (healthcare, rent, almost no public transportation, so one needs a car to get around, expensive groceries and so on) compared to where I live (Germany). I get around 33k€ after tax and social contributions, but according to ChatGTP that provides me with a similar standard of living as getting 55-65k $ in NYC or California/40-45k $ in more affordable US regions. Now I'm wondering: why are you guys even doing your PhD if it means living in poverty? Why not take your bachelor's or master's degree and find a job?

I need help please. I have to decide what to do today! I'm 43(44 in a few short months) and starting my first cycle for EIVF (long story bad doctors etc). My doc has said since I only have 2 follicles rn that I should bank eggs in 3 or more cycles as opposed to immediately fertilising and seeing how they go. She said it's a matter of money and she's trying to save me some, but I hear that banking embryos is better than banking eggs and she hasn't offered this? She wants to do Pgt-A testing of course. Part of me thinks screw it let's just do the whole IVF treatment without even looking at the egg quality! I feel like we should at least be banking embryos. What are your thoughts?

Love to hear all the things you notice and theories!
A few big ones I noticed:
Blank faced business babies (just representing the blank slate of innies or suggesting the importance of babies to Lumon's plan?)
In the water reflection a woman in blue runs one way and a woman in grey the other - I'd guess Helena and Gemma...
The head he jumps into morphs into lots of different faces then lots of different sheep (and maybe there was a ram in there - not sure).
In the testing floor elevator Gemma turns into Helly! Maybe she is going to have Keir or Myrtle or her dad (or all of them?) put inside her brain on the testing floor?
Lots of references to Gemma’s crash - lots of ice (even in the office scene - I think ice is the reflective wall), the tree etc. Also made me think of "black ice" in the story of how Peggy started working at Lumon in the Lexington letter.
Heads poking out of dirt reminds me of the painting “Kier Pardons his Betrayers”...
The importance of Cobel given how big she is, that she is shining light on the "book", but then also that it's Mark inside her which is providing the light... So is she searching for answers/working against Lumon through Mark?
And of course cute baby Kier (I assume that's who it is) making eye contact with Mark surrounded by business babies. Cloned baby? Baby his consciousness is put inside? Again just a baby to represent how severed creates a blank slate so his "soul" is put inside someone severed?
Oh and innie Mark seems the hero - pulling outtie Mark in the chip out of the brain, carry him under the backdrop etc.
I've added pics to illustrate the above to the post and will add other in comments if I notice more things of interest...
