I (29 F) have been with my (33 M) Bf for almost 8 years. We have had our rough patches here and there, but we are family.
There's been quite the experience with his ex wife re entering the picture. She started messaging him about how she wants him to be apart of her life again, and that her new husband would love to be friends and that they should all hang out. My boyfriend mentioned that wouldn't be a problem, and he would want her to get to know me as well. She didn't really want any part of that. She doesn't care to get to know me, or have me around at all. I find this behavior to be extremely disrespectful, and suspicious and I am uncomfortable with the entire situation at this point. However, he mentioned to her that I was uncomfortable with her, and they both talk about "being grown ups" and having a cordial relationship.
To add, They have no children together.
I don't want to come off as controlling, I never really tell him what he can or can't do, he's got so much freedom I never want to make him feel like im trying to take thag away, but this is where I cross the line. Something here doesn't feel right.
Is this normal? I feel slighted by the fact he told her I was uncomfortable with her, and that he undermines me by calling it "being grown ups."
I am looking for other opinions on this, and I really don't like this much at all. He also deletes messages from her, and hides if they contact eachother as well. I really don't like where this is going but he's been so loyal to me all this time and I really do have so much trust in him, but this.. This is hard to navigate. What should I do?

Title basically explains it.. I'm 21 but I'm constantly asked my age and "what grade I'm in". Youngest I've gotten is 13 (from a 16 year old 😭) but I usually get told I look 16. I genuinely dont even think I look crazy young but I get it allll the time and it's embarrassing and has been getting to me recently. I've been feeling super insecure. All my college-age friends look like adults and I don't.
I don't wear makeup and that's the first thing I want to change. Any advice on how to use makeup to look older (without looking like I'm trying way too hard)?? Or any other advice? I'm 5'2" and underweight so I am smaller but even friends that are the same height and thin still look older so idk maybe it's just my genes but I'm just so tired of feeling like a kid. Sorry for the rant and if I picked the wrong subreddit 😓 Any advice is appreciated. TYIA ❤️

I have worked in the cannabis industry my entire life, pre legalization I worked for friends year round then for legit company’s post legalization bouncing from company to company. Mostly as a slacker working in easy low responsibility positions making just enough to get by. It sucked making shit money but I was easy work most of the time with almost zero stress. 3.5 years ago I decided to get my shit together and stopped drinking and shortly after in January 2022 I landed a new job for a company as a cannabis trimmer, literally the chillest easy job the company had to offer but it is also lowest on the totem pole. In September 2022!I switched to a different department to make a few dollars more an hour, but it was still a laid back position. Worked that position for like 6 months then April 2023 somehow things went haywire and I got promoted to assistant manager. Fuckin blew my mind but of clues I took the job cuz more fuckin money. Fast forward to today and somehow I am the manager of this small company and I am going insane. I literally just took a week long trip to Hawai’i for my 32nd birthday last week, I’ve only been back 2 days and I’m already exhausted. It’s fucked up I have to sacrifice my sanity in order to make a decent living, or keep my sanity but be broke all the time. It’s just absolutely fucked.
TLDR: I was a broke slacker who got his shit somewhat together, somehow became manager of a cannabis company, and am now going insane from stress. Fuck work

I'm a little confused, and looking for some validation and/or advice. I just recently received my purple belt and am staring to feel pretty burnt out. Along with the promotion, I've also started helping out at the gym by teaching one fundamentals class a week. I'm actually finding the coaching more enjoyable then training right now, and am still loving going to open mats. I just can't seem to bring myself to go to a regular class. It seems like I'm not getting anything out of attending typical classes anymore. Did anyone else feel this way around their purple belt? I can't tell if I'm burned out because I trained my ass off at blue for years and I need a break, or if I'm just not getting anything out of regular classes anymore and need to focus on self-learning to keep improving. Any thoughts?

Going nuts trying to learn FL Studio. Have experienced a number of weird behaviors. One such is when I open a new project, open Piano Roll for an instrument, and draw in a note or two, FL Studio will begin to slice notes on its own. As I pass a cursor over an area, any notes it passes over become sliced. Slice Tool is off. I am not mouse-clicking, left or right, just "passing by", and any note gets cut into pieces. Tiny pieces.
And, a good proportion of time, just off-the-wall stuff happens, like the Piano Roll deciding to begin scrolling rapidly to the right, eventually stopping at bar 948 etc. Or selecting an instrument and the popup (and any child popup) begins flashing/flickering rapidly, with no response to "Xing out".
For a newbie, this stuff makes it a lot harder to learn, when it appears that the software is hinckey as hell.
Searching for info on the Slice Tool has not yielded any insights, as all posts are related to the intentional use of the tool, not the tool activating on its own. I should add that this is intermittent behavior in all cases.
Running FL Studio 2024.2.1 on Windows 11, with a Novation FLKey Mini as input. Thanks.

I got laid off and have been working since I was 16. I'm 35 and it's driving me crazy that I haven't done much except job searching, house projects and some exercise.
But what else is there to do? I usually like to do outdoor stuff but not during the winter (as it's been so damn cold lately). So no snowboarding or other types of winter outdoor sports and I can't afford solo cabin trips. Whats there to do so nowadays?
