首先，to do和doing都属于非谓语动词，但是两者语法性质和含义都有所不同，详见《英语语法体系》： 1）不定式 to do 大家都知道to do叫不定式，表 将来 ，即to do表示的这件事情尚未发生。 be going to do 和 be doing 表将来时该怎么区分呀 ？ 如果把be going to do 中的to do去掉是不是就剩be going了。 be going 是不是和 be doing一样都是进行时态了。 那么区别就是后面的to do了。 好了，下面直译： He is going to spend the weekend here. 意译： 他打算在这里过周末。 直译： 二、be used to doing 是指习惯做某事，are/is/am used to＋doing，注意后面要加动词现在分词。to是介词，后需加名词。 1、He is used to getting up early. 他习惯于早起。 2、They are used to working hard. 他们习惯于努力工作。 3、I'm used to reading English in the morning. 我习惯于早上读英语。 对于及物动词来说，因为需要有动作接受者，所以后面的doing就是动名词做了动作接受者（宾语），to do则是不定式做名词做了动作接受者（宾语）。 一个动词后面接to do还是doing，这要理解to do和doing的不同。 doing简单理解就是我们把动词名词化。 the key to doing sth. 意为：做某事的关键，to是介词，后接名词或动名词；此时的 to doing sth是做定语修饰 key 。 the key to do sth. 意为：为了达成某目的的关键，后接不定式“to do sth"， to do sth作为目的状语存在。 Help 以后是跟不定词bare infinitive / to-infinitive 的，所以help sb. Doing sth. 是不对的，只有： Help sb. to do sth. / help sb. do sth. 是正确的。 例如： I would like to help my mum do some housework. We've dated for seven months total, five of which have been long-distance. This is also his first serious relationship at 23 and my second so I don't know if that has any part to play. We broke up the first time three months in due to him being stressed out about long-distance and future plans not working. After three weeks he came back into town and asked to get back together, which I said yes to.
A pattern has emerged where things will go really good for 2-4 weeks. We facetime to talk about our days, watch movies, or just do our own things while on the phone. But usually before or after we see each other in person things start to break down. He will have bouts of severe anxiety or depression (including nasty stomach ulcers) that result in him not only questioning the relationship but his entire life. Along with this he has an issue of "faking" how he's feeling around me because he feels that I deserve better than a boyfriend who is unrespondent and avoidant, which I'm guessing is why he breaks down when we get to spend so much time together in person since it becomes harder to maintain feeling happy. I am someone who values quality time so I understand why he does this, but it is also frustrating when I have told him that I understand he is trying to work on his mental health right now and won't always be 100%.
Three months later and we have just broken up again because he once again can't handle the stress of the relationship potentially not working out. He has told me that I deserve better and that from his side he has been freaking out about compatibility (mainly how I value quality time and he needs space right now). We've been talking about just taking a break for a couple of weeks and then re-evaluating things, because the breakup felt abrupt and I don't think that either of us really wanted it, it's just that we keep running into the same issue of him having severe anxiety about the relationship, and me trying to fix it when it's out of my control.
If anyone has been in a relationship with someone who is similar, I would love advice on if its something worth sticking around for?? Love him but I also don't want to end up screwing myself over in the long run.

He’s my best friend in the world and I love his laugh and smile every time I see him, and his warmth of love is like nothing else anyone in the world can provide. But the turbulence of our lives individually has been too much for me to consider a marriage. It might be a psychological thing or something but I enjoy the partnership we have without a certificate. We have had a dog together for years. and we live apart and I make it a point to go see him whenever I can - we don’t live far. I don’t know, this was a couple years ago when he asked me, and it weighs on me because I feel like at that time I broke his heart. I recently noticed that the OTR (One-Time Registration) process for UPSC CSE 2025 is now hosted on a different domain—https://upsconline.gov.in—instead of the old one, https://upsconline.nic.in
While the login page content for the OTR seems identical to what it was before, I’m unable to log in using my previous credentials.
Has anyone else experienced this issue, or is it just me? Should I create a new OTR account, or is there a workaround to recover the old login credentials?
Any insights or advice would be much appreciated!

Hello, my family and I are visiting Tokyo soon and was wondering if we are going to run into rush hour. Our flight lands in Narita airport around 2:50 pm. We need to take Skyliner to Nippori Station and then transfer to the Yamanote line to go to Komagome station.
And for departure, our flight leave is at 2pm so I imagine we will probably be on the Yamanote line at Komagome station at 10am/10:30am heading towards Nippori for Skyliner back to airport.
Please advise if it will be doable for my family of 4 with 1-2 luggage each to take Yamanote line during those times. We can also split into 2 smaller groups and take separate train cars if that makes it easier

Hello, I have scheduled reendodontics of no.7 left down in 3week (changed dentist, the tooth broke like 5 years after the root canals treatement, she did xray, didn't like how it was filled before and the tooth has caries, so she first wants to do refilling - with anither specialist - and then crown) I have the term forever and wanted to actually rescheduled it because I fell pregnant in between. But 3 days ago the area started to be a bit painful. Not the tooth itself but the mandible joint and just in some movements, also when i press around that side of neck its painful, but cant feel any lymphnodes. I don't feel the heart beat in it, it's just a subtle pain, most in the evening and if i wake up during the night (but the pain doesn't wake me up). It's almost like getting up, or laying down cause s the pain a bit. No fever, no pus in the mouth or abscess... My question is: is it realistic to wait for the appt. scheduled for 17.2.? I shall be 12weeks pregnant by then. Will it be safe? Or will it likely get worse fast? Will I need antibiotics - what are the signs to look for that it's time for antibiotics? Thank you!

2025.01.24 06:50 Dizzyspell123456 Final year project team mates won't pick up my calls or reply to my messages.
So as the title says I'm currently in 8th sem completing my final yr project. My 7th sem teams mates secured an internship so I was left alone on the team. Talked to guide and project coordinator and they told to join the guide's other team. Now this team has 3 people and I've tried so many times to call and text them as I'll be joining in on their previous semester project I was meaning to ask them to explain the project's gist and then we can divide the work accordingly. But neither do they return my calls after not picking up nor do they respond to my messages.
It's not like I wanted to join them in the middle of the project. I wanted to join different group but we can't change our guide so I'm stuck in their group. Idk what to do. Should I inform my guide? Or wait more? The problem is that they are not even attending classses(Idk if they've also secured an internship, but at least they can inform if that is the case) so I don't have any way to communicate as they are literally not responding to my messages. And I can't even start on my own as I'm not familiar with their project. Please help what to do? Should I show the proof to my guide(prof)?
P.S- Using a throw away account just in case.
