 | Collected all of the epics finally after I completed the bonus summon rush yesterday. Figured I would wait until today to upgrade the last one to double dip on Champ. Training. I was going to do it as soon as I got home from work (about 7pm EST). Got home to see the fusion wasn’t active and I guess I just missed cashing in. To top it off, I already collected all of the epics using their fragments, so I couldn’t even exchange them for Maud. I’m an endgame player and this is definitely a first for me. Was trying to get too greedy with my double dipping and it bit me in the ass. Nobody to blame but myself… oh well! You live and learn. Hopefully someone here can learn from my mistake. I realize a 2:1 price ratio of watch:strap might not appeal to everyone but I’m wondering if there are here who really love these bands or already owned them for a gen and now wear them happily on a rep.
I’m asking because I have a Rolex rep on Oysterflex on order and I can’t imagine that the strap will be any good. So thinking of splurging and making the watch look good on a high quality rubber strap. It will be interesting to see if it fits properly — a real test of rep case dimensions!

So after editing on my 2017 macbook pro (16gb ram) for years it was finally time to upgrade as I'm getting more into motion graphics (fusion) and I wanted to get the most bang for my buck so made the dive into building myself a PC. I was going for a build around $1200 that could handle some decently complex fusion projects, I also believe in trying to not buy new tech when I can for environmental reasons, and I wanted intel for it's advantages over AMD I read everywhere about for editing, yet I wanted to adhere to the BDS movements call to boycott Intel due to it's relationship with the state of Israel, so I went used. Anyways it's working swimmingly for me so far, getting used to windows has honestly been the biggest thing, but would love to hear critiques or what I should have done differently. All parts are working as should according to stress tests, was worried about that with the used parts.

2025.01.24 06:51 North-Tumbleweed-609 We've broken up multiple times and I don't know what to do??
We've dated for seven months total, five of which have been long-distance. This is also his first serious relationship at 23 and my second so I don't know if that has any part to play. We broke up the first time three months in due to him being stressed out about long-distance and future plans not working. After three weeks he came back into town and asked to get back together, which I said yes to.
A pattern has emerged where things will go really good for 2-4 weeks. We facetime to talk about our days, watch movies, or just do our own things while on the phone. But usually before or after we see each other in person things start to break down. He will have bouts of severe anxiety or depression (including nasty stomach ulcers) that result in him not only questioning the relationship but his entire life. Along with this he has an issue of "faking" how he's feeling around me because he feels that I deserve better than a boyfriend who is unrespondent and avoidant, which I'm guessing is why he breaks down when we get to spend so much time together in person since it becomes harder to maintain feeling happy. I am someone who values quality time so I understand why he does this, but it is also frustrating when I have told him that I understand he is trying to work on his mental health right now and won't always be 100%.
Three months later and we have just broken up again because he once again can't handle the stress of the relationship potentially not working out. He has told me that I deserve better and that from his side he has been freaking out about compatibility (mainly how I value quality time and he needs space right now). We've been talking about just taking a break for a couple of weeks and then re-evaluating things, because the breakup felt abrupt and I don't think that either of us really wanted it, it's just that we keep running into the same issue of him having severe anxiety about the relationship, and me trying to fix it when it's out of my control.
If anyone has been in a relationship with someone who is similar, I would love advice on if its something worth sticking around for?? Love him but I also don't want to end up screwing myself over in the long run.

I (27m) and my boyfriend (26m) have been together for 6 years as of this month. He’s my best friend in the world and I love his laugh and smile every time I see him, and his warmth of love is like nothing else anyone in the world can provide. Since I’ve met him, it was like everything changed. Life has been up and down mentally, financially, emotionally etc and not just between us, but with ourselves as people. He asked me if I wanted to get married, and not in the romantic way, but also the romantic way. Idk how else to explain that, but I guess he means he wants a lifelong relationship and that marriage would make us more financially stable with taxes and the like. I agree with that. But the turbulence of our lives individually has been too much for me to consider a marriage. It might be a psychological thing or something but I enjoy the partnership we have without a certificate. We have had a dog together for years. and we live apart and I make it a point to go see him whenever I can - we don’t live far. I don’t know, this was a couple years ago when he asked me, and it weighs on me because I feel like at that time I broke his heart. We’re definitely still the same as before but I feel guilty and like an a**hole for saying no in that time. Halp
